1. She Indulges Once In A While
Sanchez does eat healthy most of the time. However, she isn’t afraid to indulge from time to time. One of her favorite indulgences is a piece of gourmet chocolate. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself taking a bite of a large chocolate candy. She captioned the post, “I start my diet tomorrow hahahaha! Thanks @thefancytreatsshop for this amazing chocolate that I'm devouring right now! Que mucho me gusta el dulce!”
2. She’s Open About IVF

Sanchez and her husband, Eric Winter, have a podcast called He Said, Ella Dijo. On it, they discuss different topics. In one episode, they opened up about their journey with IVF, specifically their struggles. At the American Heart Association Fashion Show, Sanchez said that she encouraged her husband to open about their journey so others going through the same thing wouldn’t feel alone. “I texted my husband saying I think this is going to be the podcast that is going to have the most listeners. People really don’t like to talk about it and its human it’s compelling and I hope it brings hope.”
3. She Avoids Alcohol and Tobacco

Sanchez tells HOLA USA, that a lot of people ask her about her beauty secrets, and most assume she’s had plastic surgery. Sanchez says that she just focuses on staying healthy, mainly avoiding alcohol and smoking. “People ask me, ‘What do you do?’ And I say, ‘I haven’t done anything.’ I haven’t had surgery; all I can think of is that I’ve never had alcohol or smoked. My mom is almost 80, and she’s been through cancer and all kinds of things, but her skin is amazing—so I don’t know if it’s a combination of things.”
4. She Wants To Be Healthy For Her Kids

Sanchez tells HOLA USA that her main motivation for staying healthy is her two children. "I’m 46 years old; I’m still in this business," she said. "People have a perception of you, of how you need to look, and it’s a lot of pressure. I’d rather be home and do nothing, but I can’t. And now it’s not even about the physique. I became a mother late in life—I had Sebella at 38 and Dylan at 44—and I want to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible."
5. She Gets Skin Tips From JLo

Sanchez has great skin, and she gets tips from a famous friend. She tells HOLA USA that Jennifer Lopez gave her a great skincare trick. “If you want your face to look chiseled, no sodium two days before," Sanchez explained. "I learned that from our friend JLo. She said, ‘I approach everything like a sport, so when I have a concert, I train for that – and then I can do whatever I want until my next one.”
