1. She Starts the Day with Tea
Roshni starts the day with a hot drink. “I love Assam tea. It refreshes me instantly. Every morning, I wake up to a strong cup of tea,” she told Times of India. “This habit began when my grandma started giving me tea with lots of ginger and masala. I eventually developed a taste for it, and it has been my constant wake-up call. I love Assam tea. It’s aromatic, strong and refreshes me instantly.”
2. She Believes in Natural Beauty
Roshni is a big proponent of natural beauty. “I want to tell people, especially those my age, that beauty is not just about how you look from the outside. The real you without any make-up is the most beautiful,” she told Times of India. “I have no interest in just looking glamorous on screen. Besides, while others take time to get ready for their roles, I am done in five minutes. My look on the show works for me, as my skin and hair aren’t exposed to heavy make-up.”
3. She Spends a Lot of Time in Nature
Roshni loves spending time outdoors, as can be evidenced by her Instagram page. Not only does she stay active outdoors, but takes care of the environment. “Nature is very close to my heart and hence, I wanted to celebrate this year by giving a return gift to nature. I decided to plant 10 trees a day, for the entire week. I urge everyone to do the same,” she told Times of India.
4. She Is a Foodie
Roshni loves to eat! In an interview with Zee News, she revealed that she and the character she played on the daily soap Tara From Satara have a few things in common. "Tara loves to eat and in real life I am a foodie, too. So, apart from the love for dance, we have the love for food in common," she said.
5. She Dances
One way Roshni stays in shape is by dancing. "I have been practicing dance a lot and undergoing workshops. Before the shoot started, I went to Satara and interacted with the people there to understand their lifestyle and get a hang of their accent. I had a great time there," she told Zee News. "I am happy about the fact that the story centers around dance. In real life, I sometimes lock myself in a room and dance my heart out. Dance is something that relaxes me and makes me happy. My character in the show does the same thing and hence I am enjoying shooting for it."
6. She Does Mixed Martial Arts
Roshni also loves to stay fit via fighting. The actress does mixed martial arts, showing off her skills on Instagram. “Learning,” she captioned this video of herself throwing punches.
