Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is feeling the love this summer – in her swimsuit! The statuesque supermodel showed off her famous figure in a variety of swimsuits via social media this week, looking absolutely sensational. “Summer of love,” she captioned the series of snaps. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 7 ways Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Goes to the Gym Three Times a Week

“I make it a priority to get to the gym around three times a week. Exercise is a huge stress relief for me, and I always feel good when I leave a workout. Getting there, however, is another story!” Rosie told Poosh. "Regular physical activity, such as brisk walking, can improve your quality of life and relieve stress, tension, anxiety and depression. You may notice a 'feel good' sensation immediately following your workout, and also see an improvement in overall well-being over time as physical activity becomes a regular part of your life," says the American Heart Association.

2. She Loves to Sleep

Sleep is Rosie’s go-to self-care method. “It’s rare I get a morning where I get to relax in bed with no disruptions, so sleeping in is definitely considered a splurge for me. I also love a good massage every Monday night with Anastasia from Anastasia Mobile Spa,” she told Poosh.

3. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Rosie tries not to eat after 6pm. Her method of intermittent fasting involves eating during an eight to 10-hour window. She starts the day with a matcha latte with oat milk. “It gives my body a chance to digest everything,” she told The Sunday Times Style.

4. She Is “Always Active”

“Whenever my day allows it, I’ll be at the gym by 9am. I’m always active – my mum was an aerobics instructor when I was young and she was always encouraging my siblings and me to be sporty. So despite the fact I have to keep fit for my career, I’m one of those people who genuinely loves exercise – what I do just depends on my mood or schedule,” Rosie told Women’s Health.

5. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Tom Ford AW20 Show - ArrivalsMike Coppola/FilmMagic

Rosie dabbles in lots of workouts. “If I’m jet lagged or just fancy doing something gentler, I’ll do a yoga or Pilates session with instructor Andie Hecker at Ballet Bodies in LA. She’s a former ballerina so she knows how I want my body to look – long, lean and toned,” she told Women’s Healthy. “When I want something upbeat, I’ll head to Tracy Anderson’s studio and Simone De La Rue at Body By Simone. I love their mix of aerobics and dance – their classes are really intense and challenging. When I’m in London, I work out with my brother Toby at Workshop Gymnasium, or he'll come to my hotel and squeeze in a circuits sessions between my work schedules.”

6. She Hydrates

Rosie drinks a lot of water. “Every morning, I’ll get up and chug back a litre of water. I aim for at least three litres a day; since getting strict about it I’ve seen a massive difference to my digestion and my skin,” she told Women’s Health. "Getting enough water every day is important for your health. Drinking water can prevent dehydration, a condition that can cause unclear thinking, result in mood change, cause your body to overheat, and lead to constipation and kidney stones. Water has no calories, so it can also help with managing body weight and reducing calorie intake when substituted for drinks with calories, such as sweet tea or regular soda," says the CDC.

7. She Eats Clean at Home

Rosie is tactical about her diet. “It all sounds quite virtuous, but my strategy is to eat clean and simply at home so I can enjoy myself when I’m out,” she told Women’s Health. “That doesn’t mean I don’t stay mindful about what I’m eating – I’m certainly not going to chow down on a massive bowl of pasta the night before a lingerie shoot – but I never want to be the girl looking miserable pushing a salad around my plate or nibbling on a celery stalk. Life’s too short and food is too good: French fries, cheese, bread, bacon….”

Lily James is in Greece. How fitting. One of her most famous films, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, was set there, so she looks right at home. The actor shares a series of swimsuit looks. How does she stay so fit and centered? From meditative mornings to post-shoot rejuvenation, James has painted a vivid picture of her daily life in interviews. The actress also reflects on the essence of love, as captured by Richard Curtis, and recounts her personal romantic favorites. Read on to see her latest looks.

1. She Meditates

Lily.James.1Lily James/Instagram

“The first thing I do when I wake up is, I'd like to say meditate. I've started meditating, but it's probably just look at my phone. Meditate, or look at Instagram. It's one of the two,” she told Net-a-Porter.

2. This is What She Does When a Shoot is Over

Lily.James.2Lily James/Instagram

“The first thing I do after wrapping a shoot–well, there's a healthy version and an unhealthy version,” she told Net-a-Porter. “The best thing that I could do for myself because your nervous system is so exhausted, is to go on nice long walks and go somewhere, be in nature, be relaxed and calm. But often, all I want to do is eat and drink!”

3. This is Her Richard Curtis Moment

Lily.James.3Lily James/Instagram

When asked about Richard Curtis’ take on love—the screenwriter wrote her movie Yesterday, as well as Notting Hill and Love Actually—James had this to say: “Well, there's always a moment where you have to sort of with energy run towards the person you love or beat time or else it won't succeed. I wonder if I've had that yet. I don't think I have.” He pauses. “Oh, I actually had an amazing moment when my boyfriend flew to New York and as a surprise when I was doing press there, and he tried to get up to the room, but it all fell apart because the personal reception wouldn't let him up to the room. So instead of knocking on my door and arriving, you had to call up from reception. It slightly ruined it, but that was a rushing to get there, I suppose. But that feeling that you're against times against you and that love has to seize the moment,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

4. This Was Her Most Romantic Look

Lily.James.4Lily James/Instagram

“I loved the EMM dress I wore for the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies premiere. It was kind of had an off-the-sleeve cropped top and a long skirt, but it was black and gray, so it wasn't that, but it was because on the night, well, first of all, actually I was at the premier with Matt [Smith] because we were both in the movie. So that felt quite amazing. And also the wind was really strong and that had a ribbon, and the photos just looked quite sort of old school and quite romantic, I think.”

5. She Loves to Laugh

Lily.James.5Lily James/Instagram

“I think that everyone loves to laugh,” James said about her rom-com What’s Love Got to Do With It at the Toronto International Film Festival. “I think it's like every single one of us on the planet is, I think in one way or another, searching for love, whether it be in your family or in a partner. And we all get it wrong and we all get it right. We are all in this big mess. And she always said, my character's like in a washing machine the whole time.

2. She Eats A Balanced Diet

"Club Zero" Red Carpet - The 76th Annual Cannes Film FestivalMarc Piasecki/FilmMagic

When it comes to her diet, Whiteley makes sure to have a balance. She opened up about her diet in her Harper’s Bazaar UK interview. “It's hard, because I'm travelling a lot and I don't have a routine to my life, so I'm often eating out or ordering room service. When I'm at home I try and cook very clean, very basic foods. When I'm out I'll enjoy myself, but there are ways to make healthy choices – there's always fish and chicken and salad. If I have a lingerie shoot or a red-carpet event coming up, I might cut out carbs, watch my salt and sugar intake and drink even more water for a few days before.”

3. She Reduces Bloating

Cannes Film Festival 2023 Red CarpetGetty Images

Whiteley’s amazing abs aren’t just because of Pilates. She also makes sure that she isn’t bloated. Whiteley shared her tips with Harper’s Bazaar UK. “I always find that when I've not been drinking enough, I get more bloated. It sounds counter-productive but drinking more water will actually get rid of the water retention. Probiotics are great for keeping things moving as well, I throw them in a smoothie or take them in pill form.”

4. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Whiteley told Harper’s Bazaar UK that skincare is extremely important to her. “There's no point putting on loads of make-up if you're not investing in healthy skin,” she explained. “So, it's really about working out which products work for you. It can take time and trial and error and, believe me, I've been through it all. I'm very loyal to a product from IS Clinical called Active Serum which has changed my skin, and my aesthetician in LA, Shani Darden, has a fantastic retinal cream called Resurface, which is great for fine lines and dark circles and gives you that even skin tone we all want. I also try and wear sun cream everyday on my hands and face.”

5. She Does Body By Simone Classes

Whiteley likes to do a lot of dance-cardio workout classes. She tells British Vogue that she likes to go to Body By Simone classes in particular. "I love it because it’s a very female positive environment,” Whiteley explains. “You’re dancing and the music is blasting and all the instructors are training alongside you. It’s fun. And I see results very quickly."

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is clearly happiest when she’s in a bikini. The reality star posted a video of herself on Instagram looking stunning in a purple bikini, with one fan commenting that she looks “maravilhosa”. So how does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves Oysters

Lawrence enjoys oysters, which are a great source of vitamin D, copper, selenium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. “Yes, oysters are very good for you,” says preventive cardiology dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, LD. “In fact, you probably didn’t know that it’s hard to beat all the health benefits of oysters from a nutritional standpoint. Oysters can really pack a healthy punch. Think of oysters as little shells full of nutrients.”

2. She Stays True To Herself

Launch Of MuzicSwipeMichael Tullberg/Getty Images

Being on a reality show didn’t affect Lawrence’s sense of self. “For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it,” she told COMPLEX. “I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do. There wasn’t much thought into it because I was like, this is just who I am as a person. I look back and I’m like, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have done or said that, but then I’m like, well, I’m being authentic. So that’s me. And if people don’t like something that I did or said, then they might just not like me.”

3. She Loves Her “Beach Hair”

Lawrence isn’t a fan of the overly-groomed look, preferring messier “beach hair”. “A lot of people just tell me to brush my hair, which I don’t disagree with them,” she jokes. Lawrence’s hair might actually be healthier this way, experts say, "After only a day of not using irons or heat instruments to style the hair, it will be in the condition that our hair is which is dehydrated, fragile, dull, and lifeless," says Garnier celebrity hairstylist Millie Morales. "After a month, you will notice an incredible, stronger change in your hair. You would have recovered the hydration, the natural oils of your hair and would have strengthened the protective layer of the hair."

4. She Loves the Water

Lawrence has posted lots of snaps of herself frolicking in the ocean (in a bikini, of course!). “The color blue has been found by an overwhelming amount of people to be associated with feelings of calm and peace,” says clinical psychologist Richard Shuster, PsyD. “Staring at the ocean actually changes our brain waves’ frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state.”

5. She Loves to Dance

Luxury Experience & Co Celebrity & Athlete Gifting Lounge Benefiting The V FoundationAndrew Toth/Getty Images

Lawrence enjoys dancing, based on her TikTok posts. “We know that movement is good for everyone,” says Emily Sandow, supervisor of dance physical therapy at NYU Langone’s Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. “A healthy lifestyle is integrating the mind, body and soul relationship, and dance has all of those characteristics. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just you just tapping your foot. Everyone can do something where they can move their body to music, and that’s really valuable.”

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
