But if the director is a man, there are a lot of restrictions to the way he would talk on the set, especially if he has a female senior technician on the floor. These are some reasons people don’t take a chance [with women]. It is not a great reason but people in the industry are way more casual and they always want to be in their comfort space. When a woman enters the picture, the guy thinks he cannot control it and then the work space becomes diplomatic.”

Rochelle Humes first started as a member of the girl group, The Saturdays. Since then, she has become a TV host, and has hosted Ninja Warrior UK and The Hit List. Humes and her family recently enjoyed a vacation in Dubai. She shared some highlights on Instagram recently. In one photo, Humes posed in a brown bathing suit, wrap, and sunhat. 1. Subhead Goes Right Here

Humes makes sure to take care of her hair. She shared some of her secrets to Grazia. Humes says that she keeps her haircare routine simple. “I try not to over complicate it,” she says. “I use a product called Twisted Sista 30 Second Curl Spray, £5.89, that helps to define my curls. You mist it onto super wet hair and scrunch it in. After that, I'll use a curl cream, which I'm constantly switching up, or a leave-in conditioner - both are a great way to keep my curls healthy.”

2. She Stays Moisturized

Humes shared some of her favorite skincare products and tips to WhoWhatWear. She says that staying moisturized is important to her. “I’d put some moisturiser on. I use the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£45), and I just think it’s the best moisturiser for my skin. I use the eye cream as well. It’s the best thing to go on underneath makeup because I can’t bear it when moisturiser starts rolling off when you put stuff on top. This one just sits on the skin really well, and it can hold makeup, which is important.”

3. She Loves Retinol

Woman,,Dropper,And,Retinol,On,Face,For,Skincare,Beauty,OrShutterstock

One of Humes’ favorite skincare products is retinol. She tells WhoWhatWear, “The other bit of advice is that I always put my eye cream on before anything else. I'll use retinol maybe once a week, but because the eye area is so delicate, it means you have a kind of barrier to protect that area before using any actives. I'm really into using different ingredients. You just have to be careful with those harsher things [like retinol], but they work so well. They're nothing to be scared of. You hear hyaluronic acid and think, Acid on my face? But it’s so good for hydration. I adore skincare.”

4. She Loves Pilates

In her WhoWhatWear interview, Humes opened up about her fitness routine, and her favorite exercises. “Pilates is my favourite form of exercise, and I really needed that in lockdown,” she says. “I do feel good after it. As much as I might dread getting up to do it in the morning, I’ve never ever regretted doing an exercise in my life. You just have to think of afterward.”

5. She Embraces Herself

In her WhoWhatWear interview, Humes was asked about what advice she would give others. “You are you for a reason,” she answered. “Embrace your beauty because you are beautiful, and don’t worry about social media because none of it’s real. You know, someone has taken a million selfies to get to the right one. They’ve chosen a good angle, the one they look the best in. We all do it. So just don’t compare yourself to that. You live once, so just enjoy it.

Singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha has never been more confident in her own skin—and it shows. Rexha, 34, shared pictures of herself posing on the beach in a black swimsuit and black mesh coverup, looking serene against a gorgeous ocean background. The instagram pictures were received with overwhelming support and compliments, including a heart-eye emoji from Paris Hilton. Rexha has been open about her past struggles for self-acceptance—here’s what self-love means to her now.

1. Musical Ambitions

Rexha always knew she wanted to work in the music industry. “My love for music started when I was 4 years old and I grew up with music in my household,” she tells Fashion Quarterly. “I started playing the trumpet and taught myself how to play piano. Then I found my love for songwriting which opened a lot of doors for me in my artist career. I’ve been very lucky to work with several artists and collaborators. I knew that I had a love for music and I wanted people to hear my songs. In order for people be in the music business, I knew I needed to do this when I was about 15 or 16, that’s when I started networking with people in the industry.

2. Self-Love and Positivity

ILoveMyself

Rexha has struggled with self-image and confidence in the past, but is learning to be more gentle with herself. “I always say this, and I hope I can keep getting this out there, self-love is not something that, one day, you’re just going to wake up and say, ‘I feel perfect; I feel beautiful.’ Self-love is going to be a constant journey,” she tells Who What Wear. “It’s interesting because I’ve noticed I always give compliments to other people when they’re looking good, but I don’t give myself compliments. So, I’ve been working on saying nice things about myself even if I feel a little bloated, or I’ve gained a little weight, or I indulged in a heavy meal. I say things like ‘I love myself even though I gained a certain amount of weight,’ ‘I love myself even with my little flubby belly or my thick thighs.’ It goes a long way. Just telling yourself every single day that you love yourself, it will get in your head and become more ingrained.”

3. Role Model

Rexha goes out of her way to preach acceptance to her female fans in particular. “I think for females it gets hard because we have to live up to standards of what society thinks we should look like,” she tells Fashion Quarterly. “You’re in the spotlight at all times which has you question yourself a lot. That’s why it’s really important for me to promote self-love and supporting other females to my fans.”

4. Self-Care Rituals

Rexha’s self-care routine is all about luxurious baths. “I wish I could say that I would sleep in, but I honestly don’t sleep much,” she tells Who What Wear. “I would take two or three baths. I love baths, and I do them all of the time. I would probably order an incredible pizza, make myself a really yummy salad, maybe get a glass of wine, watch some movies, play some vinyls—I love vinyls and I’ve been collecting them—and then I’d just make a delicious little dessert or something.”

5. Happy In Her Own Skin

Rexha no longer beats herself up over guilt related to food or exercise. “I have definitely gotten more comfortable in my skin,” she tells Who What Wear. “At one point, it was kind of unhealthy, and I really felt like my sense of self-worth was totally based on the way that I looked. So yeah, I’ve gotten more comfortable, and a little bit lazier, but like, if I want to eat a healthy meal or really take care of my skin, I do it from a place of love now. And hey, I’ve been eating chips and popcorn while we’ve been talking, and do I feel kinda meh about it? Yeah, but then I’m kind of just like, ‘I wanted it, my body wanted it,’ and so I honored that. I just follow my heart.”

Bebe Rexha, the American singer behind “No Broken Hearts,””In the Name of Love,” and “The Monster,” is enjoying her weekend in the sun. The talent often shares selfies in swimsuits, and this was no exception, as she looked chill and relaxed (as did a dog, also photographed). How does she stay so fit? 1. She Says Everyone is Beautiful

bebe-rexha-pool-2Bebe Rexha/Instagram

Bebe is a big body positivity proponent. She once wrote: "I WANNA SEE YOUR REAL BODIES," she wrote in the caption. "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. THICK. SKINNY. CELLULITE. STRETCH MARKS. FOLDS. SEND ME VIDEOS. NO PHOTOSHOP BULLSHIT. POST ON TIK TOK/ INSTAGRAM AND TAG ME AND ILL REPOST #EVERYBODYISBEAUTIFUL #sacrifice."

2. She Walks to Relieve Anxiety

bebe-rexha-pool-3Bebe Rexha/Instagram

"Walking means tranquility, calmness. It really does help with my mental health, my anxiety... it calms me down," she says in Apple’s Time to Walk audio series. “Start at a pace that's comfortable for you. Then gradually pick up speed until you're walking briskly — generally about 3 to 4 miles an hour. You should be breathing hard, but you should still be able to carry on a conversation. Each week add about two minutes to your walking time. After you've tried the walking schedule for 12 weeks, aim to increase the time you're walking briskly even more, from 30 to 60 minutes a day,” says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Tries Not to Be Her Worst Enemy

bebe-rexha-poolBebe Rexha/Instagram

"'We stop looking for the monsters that are under the bed when we realize they're inside of us.' That quote spoke to me on so many levels. To me, that really struck a chord because I was dealing with a lot of blame and self-judgment, like, wow, we could really be our own worst enemies," she said in the Time to Walk episode.

4. She Eats “Very Clean”

amfAR Gala Los Angeles 2021 - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Bebe doesn’t limit what she eats but she does try to eat “very clean.” “Generally, clean eating is assumed to refer to foods that are as close to their natural state as possible, maybe organic, and most likely with minimal use of any chemical additives and preservatives. A clean diet may include whole fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats while limiting highly processed snacks and other packaged foods with added sugar and salt. It may also be associated with terms like plant-based, grass-fed, sugar-free, or gluten-free. In summary, clean eating seemingly promotes health and wellness,” says Harvard Health.

5. She Refuses to be “Imprisoned”

amfAR Gala Los Angeles 2021 - ShowRich Fury/amfAR/Getty Images

Bebe opened up about having bipolar disorder. “That was my worst fear all my life: going crazy,” she says. “I felt like me opening up to my fans was me finally saying, ‘I’m not going to be imprisoned by this.’ And maybe it’ll make somebody not feel imprisoned, in that moment, if they feel like they’re going through a rough time. That’s why I decided to really open up and to free myself from that,” she told Self.

The Bollywood star recently shared a video on Instagram rocking two-piece workout gear, proving that her fitness philosophy is all about keeping things fun and challenging. Here’s how Sanon keeps herself in top shape with a variety of exercises that work both body and mind.

She Does TRX

Sanon does a lot of things to keep herself in shape. She is seen using TRX cables in her Instagram video. NIFS states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “If you have ever taken a class or done some of even the most basic exercises, you quickly see that core activation is one of the most important aspects. The workouts are simple yet very challenging, and you can easily complete a total-body workout only using one piece of equipment in 20 minutes.”

Strength Training

Sanon is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in her Instagram video. Strength training has a lot of health benefits. Sanon is seen doing hip thrusts with a shoulder press in her Instagram video. Hip thrusts have a lot of benefits. Gymless says, “Hip thrusts are a controlled and powerful movement, mainly focusing on the glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and core. This exercise is vital for developing a stronger posterior chain, contributing to improved athletic performance, alleviating lower back pain, and enhancing overall physique. Considering that about 65 million Americans experience some form of back pain, hip thrusts are a great exercise to include in your routine.”

Gymless says that this exercise is very beneficial. “Russian Twists are a great exercise that develops all parts of your core, especially the obliques, it also targets the shoulders and hips. This exercise involves rotating your torso from side-to-side while maintaining a sit up position with your feet off the ground. This rotational movement often occurs in sports, which makes it a popular exercise amongst athletes. It is speculated that this was developed during the Cold War by the former Soviet Union as a training exercise for the Russian Soldiers.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Sanon also shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen using a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness reports that stationary bike workouts have a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

Alice De Bortoli/Instagram

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
