Rutuja Sawant is celebrating the day of love in her swimsuit. The Indian actress shows off her incredible curves in a bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts. “Happy Valentines Day,” she captioned the Instagram photo. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Rutuja Sawant stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Has a Sweet Tooth

Rutuja further shares how much she loves sweets. "My favourite part of Diwali is eating kaju katlis and ladoos. I have a sweet tooth and can't resist these. In my childhood, I used to finish boxes of sweets. But now, I have to keep in mind my workout routine and my diet, so I am going to eat just a few." Times of India

2. Weight Gain Impact Her Mental Health

Rutuja explained to ETimes TV per Times of India that pandemic weight gain left her depressed. “When we were shooting in Hyderabad, I got sick. As we were in the bio bubble, we couldn’t step out. Hence, I was eating anything and everything that was available. This led to gaining 10 kgs,” she said. “I was not focused and at times I was losing my calm also. Then came a point, when I got depressed about my weight gain. It was then that my family and friends supported me through the phase.”

3. She Limits Portion Size

“I am almost back in shape and I have lost the weight, which I gained during the lockdown. The only process that I adopted is controlling my eating habits and started exercising,” Rutuja added to ETimes. “From that period of time I learnt never to lose hope and stay calm all the time. You just have to stay calm and think in the right direction.”

4. She Suffers From a Sleep Issue

Rutuja suffers from Dysania, a condition defined by “an extreme difficulty rising from bed or an inability to leave the bed." However, she works hard to overcome it. "We recently shot for a sequence in which I had to be tied with some ropes. There was a lot of hard work and dedication required to shoot for this scene. It was a tiring scene because we shot back to back for the whole day,” she continued. "As an actor, I am ready to perform any sort of challenging scene because that will enhance my capability and ability."

5. She Does Strength Training Workouts

Rutuja regularly strength trains. Here she is performing a series of exercises, including weight lifting. She also does a lot of battle rope exercises. "Before we get started on the exercises, it would be helpful to have a better anatomical understanding of these ropes. For starters, ropes come in many lengths and thicknesses. The longer the rope or the thicker the rope, the more challenging the exercises become. Also, using a poly rope with shrinkwrapped endcaps has advantages over the less-expensive manila gym ropes traditionally used for climbing. The poly rope material tends to be softer on the hands and more durable than the manila rope. The manila rope, however, can work fine and be more cost-effective," says NIFS.

Esha Gupta, star of such films as Raaz 3D, Rustom and Baadshaho, is known for her beauty; she did win Most Photogenic at Femina Miss India, after all. As if you needed reminding, Esha just posted a flashback. In the photo, Gupta posed in a red bathing suit in a dimly lit room. She captioned the photo, “Throwback.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Practices Yoga

Gupta is a big fan of practicing yoga as a way of staying in shape. And yoga is a big part of her life, if you take a look at her Instagram page. Gupta has an Instagram story highlight on her page called “Fitness,” which is just herself doing different poses. She’s also posted several photos on Instagram of herself doing different yoga poses and practicing meditation. "Research has found evidence that treatment programs including regular meditation practice can help reduce depression; improve sleep, improve pain management, quit smoking, improve self-esteem, improve concentration, decrease menopausal symptoms, and reduce the severity of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome," says the Cleveland Clinic.

2. She Boxes

Gupta loves to take boxing classes as a way to stay in shape. She posted this video on Instagram from the gym of herself working out with her trainer, with the Post Malone and The Weeknd song “One Right Now” as the background music. Gupta captioned the reel, “@boxeopath killing me softly, posty giving me feels. Thank you @adito_sen @thefitskeptic @knox.studio for making me prep for #invisblewoman. You guys are beast love you.”

3. She Snorkels

Gupta loves to go to the beach, and especially loves doing different physical activities in the water. One activity that she likes to do is go snorkeling. She posted this series of stunning photos on Instagram of herself snorkeling in the ocean at the Reethi Faru Resort. Gupta captioned the photo, “Being Dory,” referencing the Pixar character.

4. She’s Not Worried About Being Thin

FASHION-INDIA-NIRMOOHASUJIT JAISWAL/AFP via Getty Images

When it comes to fitness, Gupta says that she isn’t concerned about losing weight. Instead, she focuses on being at a healthy weight for her body. Gupta wants everyone else to have this same mindset. “Being healthy is not about being thin,” she told Gulf News. “I remember seeing my young cousins in Dubai and them fretting about being a size four. But I told them, you can be any size but focus on being healthy and fit. I don’t want to have a daughter tomorrow who’s concerned that she isn’t thin. So, our focus should be on being healthy and fit. Lots of designers have banned size zero models and that’s wonderful. American model Ashley Graham has such a beautiful face and body. You look at her and you know that she works out too and remember just because you are smaller in dress size doesn’t mean you are healthier than me.”

5. She Eats Healthy

Indian film actress Esha Gupta attend the LIVA ProtégéAzhar Khan/SOPA Images/LightRocket/Getty Images

Gupta broke down her diet to Gulf News, where she revealed that she eats pretty healthy. Gupta says that she cuts out certain ingredients to help her eat better. “I come from a family of vegetarians. We are vegetarians not for religious purposes though. Although I am a Punjabi, I have lots of vegetables with collagen in them. I am gluten and dairy-intolerant, so I avoid it completely. When I eat gluten, my stomach hurts and I get acidic. Plus, I don’t believe in having milk products because I don’t think our body needs it. I also have carbs until 6pm. For dinner, I just have dal [lentils] or soups.”

1. She Works Out at the Gym

Dwivedi hits the gym often, notably at Russh Fitness and Wellness. “Exercising regularly, every day if possible, is the single most important thing you can do for your health. In the short term, exercise helps to control appetite, boost mood, and improve sleep. In the long term, it reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia, depression, and many cancers,” says Harvard Health.

2. She Loves Biryani

Ragini loves biryani and it’s a healthy choice. “Proteins take longer to digest than carbohydrates do, so eating a meal of chicken every day could keep your belly feeling satisfied long enough to avoid craving carbs or overeating calories. In a study published in the journal Appetite, researchers found that chicken was equally as effective as beef and pork at triggering the release of intestinal hormones and insulin, which influence satiety,” says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

3. She Does Yoga

Ragini does yoga. She once posted: “MANTRA : special powers to transform the body mind and spirit ❤️Gives you mental clarity and calmness increases body and mind awareness. My journey with yoga has been life changing for me mentally and physically given me the strength to face and overcome any hurdles that came my way …This is a lifestyle that u must adopt start slow and see the change …” She added: #raginidwivedi #internationalyogaday #yogapractice #yoga #positivevibes #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #mentalandphysicalhealth #physicalhealth #healthylifestyle #healthiswealth #trendingreels #trendingsongs #trending #trend #reelsinstagram #reelitfeelit #reels #reelkarofeelkaro #reelvideo #viralreels #viralpost

4. She Loves Dogs

Ragini posed with her husky, happily. “Dogoo wants to pose 😜🤪🤤Good day and good mood for the little prince 🤴 #zuesthehusky,” she captioned it. “There are many health benefits of owning a pet. They can increase opportunities to exercise, get outside, and socialize. Regular walking or playing with pets can decrease blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels. Pets can help manage loneliness and depression by giving us companionship. Most households in the United States have at least one pet,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. This is Her Take on Mental Health

“I'd be lying to say if I don't get low or don't get upset. My journey has been a complete roller coaster ride. My hits, my flops, my doing commercial films to now doing solo films to my weight issues and even a wardrobe malfunction, I am the living example how you can survive it all. I'm proud of my ups and downs too,” she told the Times of India.

1. She Transformed For A Role

When Chandna signed on to appear in Naagin 5, she had to get in shape. She shared her process to Times Of India. "I had to say bye-bye to all the happy weight and bring a transformation because my character needed that,” she explained. “If you are playing a naagin you need to look sexy, fit and someone who can easily do the stunts. The previous seasons' actresses, who played naagins, had already set a bar so high, that it was important to look different and set a new trend."

2. She Did Her Own Stunts

In Naagin 5, Chandna did a lot of her own stunts. "When I signed up for the show, I did not have time to go to the gym, because we were shooting for 12-13 hours,” she tells Times Of India. “Naagin is not a show that requires you to be at one place throughout the day. The show had a fast pace, we had to run around a lot because of outdoor scenes and do a lot of stunts and action scenes. This helped me burn my calories, so I was burning good calories on the sets, shooting for 12-13 hours."

3. She Believes In Balance

Chandna opened up about her diet to Times Of India. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet. "I used to eat bhakhri, rice, veggies, chicken and fish. I also consumed jowar bhakhris. I kept away from junk food but I had my 'cheat' days when I used to go out and eat pav bhaji and pizza. The idea was to be physically active and run around a lot, eat in small proportions than totally deprive yourself."

4. She Stays Consistent

Entertainment India - December 2021Prodip Guha/Getty Images

When Chandna isn’t on set doing stunts, she still makes time to workout. She shared some of her favorite exercises to Times Of India. "I am thankful that I achieved my fitness goals playing a Naagin,” she says. “I have time on hand. I will again go back to doing my zumba and pilates to maintain my fitness levels."

5. She Swims

1. She Ate Healthy While Battling COVID

Atre revealed in an interview with Free Press Journal that she struggled with COVID-19. She says that one thing she did to recover is eat healthy. “I was in constant touch with my doctor. I was eating fresh food and avoiding junk or packaged snacks. I have a sweet tooth and I was advised to eat fruits when I was craving for sugar; I was told to eat less spicy and oily food. I also made sure to keep myself hydrated all the time. Also, I ate a lot of green vegetables while battling Covid.”

2. She Loves Kadha

Atre told Free Press Journal that she loves to drink Kadha and similar beverages. She says that this helped her get through COVID. “Kadha (a traditional Indian drink considered to be effective against cough and cold) is quite helpful. Even my family drinks an ayurvedic homemade kadha everyday.”

3. She Consults An Expert

Atre tells Free Press Journal that she always consults with an expert before she made any life choices. She says that she especially did this when she had COVID. “We all are flooded with health advices, diet plans, forwarded messages, and we have seen people following those guidelines. But what we often do not understand is that every human body reacts differently, so one must consult with an expert before taking up any diet plan.”

4. She Walks

One of Atre’s favorite ways to get exercise is walking. She tells Telly Chakkar, “I am not into fitness, but whenever I get time off from my shooting, I go for a walk or jog near the set. It is a best way to relax.”

5. She Does A Variety Of Exercises

Atre likes to do a lot of different exercises. She revealed some of her favorites in an interview with India Forums, “I am a trained kathak dancer and kathak has helped me in my overall fitness. I have been practicing kathak since the last 15 years and it improves ones stamina, grace and flexibility along with toning one's body. Besides dancing I do cardio exercises at home. I have a small gym, so I walk on the treadmill and cycle. I practice yoga regularly, which is good for ones mental strength. I exercise for an hour almost six days a week.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
