1. She Washes Her Hands Before Her Skincare Routine Begins

Cook has incredible skin, and she broke down her skin care secrets to Us Weekly. She says that the first thing she does is wash her hands. She says this helps keep her skin clean. “Hopefully you’re washing your hands throughout the day, but it’s very important to get a nice scrub on before you touch your face because so much dirt and bacteria and grime sits in our hands under our fingernails. And we don’t want that to get in our face.”

2. She Uses Different Serums On Her Skin

In her Us Weekly skincare interview, Cook revealed some of her favorite products. She says that she loves to use serums on her skin, and uses two to get different things to happen. “Ever since I’ve added serums into their life, my skin has changed dramatically. Just like how you listen to your body and what you want to eat, you should listen to your skin and what it wants to be drenched in. I go between the The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc, which has been instrumental in cleaning up my skin.”

3. She’s Kind

Cook tells Us Weekly that one of her wellness and lifestyle secrets is staying kind, to both others, and herself. “I think that the best beauty tip that I’ve received and that I work into my daily practice is to be kind to myself, be kind to others. I think that the more that we tune into ourselves and listen to what we need, we truly will glow from the inside out.”

4. She’s Taking Care of Her Body

Cook is open about her past struggles with body image and an eating disorder. She opened up about her struggles in an essay for SI Swim. Cook revealed that the ways she recovered from these struggles is by taking care of herself and listening to her body. “I slowly stopped being unhealthily concerned with my exercise routines. If I’m too tired, I give myself the day off and don’t think twice about it. I slowly started learning how to eat healthily and consciously, but not obsessively. I try to eat clean but if I want something I will listen to my body and eat it.”

5. She Wants To Change The Industry

In her SI Swim essay, Cook revealed her desires to change the fashion and pop culture industries. She says that she wants others to help spread healthy body values and appearances, and change beauty standards. “Our culture is not going to change overnight. Our image-driven society is one of the aspects of our world that make it so beautiful, if the contexts behind the images are mindful of the connotations the image can hold alone. The industry is changing for the better. I see that every day and I want to be a part of that change. I am seeing people on billboards that a wider range of human beings can identify with. I am reading important messages that go along with those beauty commercials that come on in between TV shows. I open up a magazine and there is emotional, social or political context to these images that have such a strong impact on our world.”

Carly Lawrence in Bathing Suit is "in Paradise"

Here’s how the TV star stays in shape.

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is clearly happiest when she’s in a bikini. The reality star posted a video of herself on Instagram looking stunning in a purple bikini, with one fan commenting that she looks “maravilhosa”. So how does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves Oysters

Lawrence enjoys oysters, which are a great source of vitamin D, copper, selenium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. “Yes, oysters are very good for you,” says preventive cardiology dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, LD. “In fact, you probably didn’t know that it’s hard to beat all the health benefits of oysters from a nutritional standpoint. Oysters can really pack a healthy punch. Think of oysters as little shells full of nutrients.”

2. She Stays True To Herself

Launch Of MuzicSwipeMichael Tullberg/Getty Images

Being on a reality show didn’t affect Lawrence’s sense of self. “For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it,” she told COMPLEX. “I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do. There wasn’t much thought into it because I was like, this is just who I am as a person. I look back and I’m like, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have done or said that, but then I’m like, well, I’m being authentic. So that’s me. And if people don’t like something that I did or said, then they might just not like me.”

3. She Loves Her “Beach Hair”

Lawrence isn’t a fan of the overly-groomed look, preferring messier “beach hair”. “A lot of people just tell me to brush my hair, which I don’t disagree with them,” she jokes. Lawrence’s hair might actually be healthier this way, experts say, "After only a day of not using irons or heat instruments to style the hair, it will be in the condition that our hair is which is dehydrated, fragile, dull, and lifeless," says Garnier celebrity hairstylist Millie Morales. "After a month, you will notice an incredible, stronger change in your hair. You would have recovered the hydration, the natural oils of your hair and would have strengthened the protective layer of the hair."

4. She Loves the Water

Lawrence has posted lots of snaps of herself frolicking in the ocean (in a bikini, of course!). “The color blue has been found by an overwhelming amount of people to be associated with feelings of calm and peace,” says clinical psychologist Richard Shuster, PsyD. “Staring at the ocean actually changes our brain waves’ frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state.”

5. She Loves to Dance

Lawrence enjoys dancing, based on her TikTok posts. “We know that movement is good for everyone,” says Emily Sandow, supervisor of dance physical therapy at NYU Langone’s Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. “A healthy lifestyle is integrating the mind, body and soul relationship, and dance has all of those characteristics. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just you just tapping your foot. Everyone can do something where they can move their body to music, and that’s really valuable.”

How does the young model maintain her fit physique? Keep reading for 5 ways Sailor Brinkley Cook stays fit.

1. She Does Cardio, HIIT, and Yoga

Sailor tries to “work out every day,” she told InStyle. “A normal workout would start with cardio. I’m a big runner—I try to run two miles a day. Then I work out with my trainer at Work Train Fight, doing HIIT workouts like burpees and lunges. If I need a day off, I’ll do yoga or something low-intensity,” she said. If she has a shoot coming up she will “work out like an athlete,” she said. “I add on weight training, I box, and really push my muscles,” focusing on her abs.

2. She Drinks A Lot of Water

Sailor is all about hydration. “You want to be hydrated because it shows up in the way your skin looks, in the way that your body looks, in the way that you're acting and feeling,” she told InStyle. “24 hours before a shoot, I'm drinking a crazy amount of water—I’m talking like three gallons.”

3. She Eats Clean

Healthy,Vegetable,Buddha,Bowl,Lunch,With,Grilled,Chicken,And,Quinoa,Shutterstock

“I eat as clean as possible,” Sailor revealed to InStyle. “Lots of lean protein. I'm vegan so I can't have grilled chicken or salmon, but I go for salads with quinoa and beans and fresh vegetables and then something light, like a sautéed vegetable dish, for dinner.”

4. She Walks

Sailor thinks walking is “a really underrated thing people don’t do enough when they’re feeling stressed out. Especially in the city, I’ll put my phone in my pocket, put my headphones in, and I’ll just play my favorite music and take a walk around the city. You just see all these different people of all different walks of life, and the art on the streets, and little fluffy dogs. All these little things remind you that, Okay, we’re all in this together, we’re going through it, you’ve got to make the best of it. That really helps me a lot when I’m feeling chaotic,” she told Glamour.

5. She Indulges in Self-Care

Sailor takes time for self-care. Her version involves candles. "I have this connection to candles because I always feel like they represent a moment of self-care for me," she told People. "I'm never really casually lighting a candle. I'll light a candle with the intention of getting cozy and feeling calm." She added: "I knew that hopefully they would bring anyone else that deals with a restless mind these moments of feeling grounded and feeling present and calm and setting your intentions. Each of these candles really brings a great, calm moment to my day."

1. She Is Open About Her Mental Health Struggles

Celebrity Sightings In New York - September 14, 2022Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images

In Sailor’s birthday Instagram post she opened up about her mental health. “For the first birthday in quite a while I didn’t catch the birthday blues. I held strongly to the belief in a version of myself that hasn’t come to life yet & gave love to all the past versions that brought me here. This year I tried new things, moved through hardships with grace, celebrated my body, nourished my inner child, laughed more, cried less, became friends with the scary parts of my mind, made sure to dance at least twice a week, cherished my friendships, felt peace in my solitude, and found an incredible sense of true independence I’ve never felt before. My oldest & dearest friend Dillon sent me a video from 10 years ago (last slide) the other day and I couldn’t help but feel so proud of that sweet 15 year old Sailor who did everything for everyone else. Well, 10 years later and I can truly & honestly say you did the work and are doing it all for yourself now. & I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store,” she wrote in her message of self-love.

2. She Exercises

“In general, I try to work out every day. A normal workout would start with cardio. I’m a big runner—I try to run two miles a day. Then I work out with my trainer at Work Train Fight, doing HIIT workouts like burpees and lunges. If I need a day off, I’ll do yoga or something low-intensity,” Sailor told InStyle. Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
