She Embraces Her Age
In this revealing post on Instagram, Khan described her approach to aging. She writes that she embraces her age. "I love ageing, the wisdom I have gained and knowing that I still have so much more to learn and do is exciting and I look forward to it," she writes. "I've finally found myself, the ability to stand up and be counted and do what really makes me happy."
She's Visible To Herself
In her Instagram post, Khan says that she is visible to herself. She encouraged her followers to do the same each day. "Be visible to yourself," Khan writes. "Wake up, look in the mirror and feel that YOU matter. Connect with your essence. Be proud of your values."
She Walks Everyday
Khan revealed some of her favorite exercises in an interview with Woman magazine. She says that she tries to workout every day, and one way she does so is by walking. "There's no magic pill. It's about being active every day. That means keeping your steps up – at least 10,000 per day, I'd say. Walking is the best exercise. If I'm not feeling a big workout or a run, I just go for a long walk."
She Mixes Cardio and Strength Training
Khan tells Woman Magazine that she likes to do a combination of strength and cardio training each day. "I do 45 minutes of strength training and cardio – that includes things like skipping and bodyweight exercises," she says. I really need to build my strength so that, as I get older, I can have a good quality of life and range of movement, so I do some weight training, too."
She Gets Enough Sleep
Khan prioritizes her beauty sleep each night. She tells Woman Magazine that sleep is a big part of her wellness routine. "We forget that we do need to sleep," she says. "People think you don't need it, but your body needs time to heal, repair and re-energise."
