Hayek has amazing skin. She shared some of her tips in an interview with Glamour. She believes that you shouldn’t use too many products, especially at night. “I believe that sometimes it's good at night to do not a lot of [skin care products]. I will tell you why: Your skin, it's going to do an amazing job. It's going to repair itself. When I don't sleep, like now, I need all of it. But otherwise it's going to repair itself, and so, the most important thing is to clean it super well. Then the secret is never to wash it in the morning.”

2. She Varies Her Morning Skincare Routine

When it comes to Hayek’s morning skincare routine, she mixes up what she does. She shared some of her tips to Glamour. “I rinse it. Sometimes I put rosewater. Sometimes not. Sometimes straight to the cream. You have to see how the skin feels every day. Sometimes I go straight to the cream. But not right when I wake up. In the morning your skin, it's perfectly balanced, the pH. Sometimes I have breakfast first and then take care of my skin.”

3. She Chooses The Right Products

Hayek tells Glamour that she learned skincare from her grandmother. She says that she makes sure to choose the best products with the right ingredients. “I think that my beauty routine, and how I see beauty is from what I've learned from my grandmother. It made me realize that there are things that were not out there because [most brands] go by trends. There are things that are really good that are pushed to the side just because they're trying too hard to sell you the new thing to always create some kind of event.”

4. She Limits Exfoliating

Salma Hayek needs nothing else for a perfect summer besides beer and a swimsuit. The 56-year-old actress is having a blast on a scuba diving trip with her friend and instructor Martina Engel, and sharing highlights from the adventure. Hayek posted pictures of the pair happily posing in bikinis and wetsuits, well-earned drinks in hand and snacking on oranges. “Hanging out with my favorite dive master,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Hayek stays ageless and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Knows You Love Her Bikinis

Hayek celebrated hitting 25 million followers on Instagram by posting a very tongue-in-cheek video of herself working out in a swimming pool. “I can’t believe it, 25 million followers! Thank you soo soo much to every single one of you. 🙏 Seeing as you all like my bikini pictures the most 👙, here’s a bikini work out for you all. I hate exercising- but I love to celebrate good moments dancing in the water. I am genuinely moved and grateful for all your love & support 🥰.”

2. She Is Brave

London,,United,Kingdom,-,February,10,,2019:,Salma,Hayek,AttendsShutterstock

Remember the infamous scene-stealing snake dance Hayek did in From Dusk Till Dawn? It turns out she wasn’t exactly prepared for that. “They just kind of threw me on the stage with the snake, put the music on and said, ‘Hey, dance!’” she says, adding that there was no choreography—she was left to her own devices. “I was feeling insecure [and] just wanted to get through it. It was a really small part but to my surprise people really remember that moment.”

3. No Hair Dye, Please

Salma,Hayek,Pinault,Wearing,Dress,By,Alexander,Mcqueen,Attends,PremiereShutterstock

Hayek’s gorgeous dark locks? All natural, all her. The actress no longer has the patience to sit through endless root touch-ups. “It’s my natural color, and it’s my natural white hairs,” she says. “One of the reasons I don’t dye my hair is because I don’t have the patience to sit through it. I don’t want to spend what’s left of my youth pretending I’m younger and then not enjoying life.”

4. She’s Very Funny

Hayek fought typecasting to be allowed to do comedy (no one could forget her star turn in 30 Rock). “I was typecast for a long time,” she says. “My entire life I wanted to do comedy and people wouldn’t give me comedies. I couldn’t land a role until I met Adam Sandler, who put me in a comedy [2010’s Grown Ups], but I was in my forties! They said, ‘You’re sexy, so you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor.’ Not only are you not allowed to be smart, but you were not allowed to be funny in the ’90s.”

5. No Botox or Fillers

Hayek’s secret to beautiful, ageless skin? Golden face masks and chicken soup. “I use an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin, and there’s no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us,” she says. “Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like ‘Oh my god! How come nobody is using this?’ This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings.”

We're not just here to make babies, we're not just here to baby the man. It's a misunderstanding that has been going around for centuries.

2. She Doesn’t Break a Sweat

In an interview with People Salma admitted she doesn’t have the “discipline” to wake up and break a sweat. “‘I don’t have time to exercise, I am working,” she said. Instead, she does restorative yoga. “I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long,” she explained. “So even when you brush your teeth, you’re working the muscles,” she continued. “She taught me to tone my muscles without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you’re aware of your body, you’d be surprised by the effect it can have.”

3. She Walks Her Dogs

How does Salma look so great? “I don't think I am some hot tamale, but I know that for my age, for the lifestyle that I lived, I'm not doing too badly. And I attribute all of this to meditation," she told InStyle. She uses breathing techniques she learned to treat lower back pain. "It makes you experience your body with a lightness that's really delicious and satisfying. With the breathing and the going inside, you explore your body in a different way, and you learn not to go crazy with the expectations."

5. She Doesn’t Diet

You won’t find Salma starving herself. “I don't like to diet and I'm not good at it,” she wrote on her website. Instead, she fuels up on fruit, veggies, and leans meats and fish. She also loves juice. “When I feel stressed, I turn to food for comfort,” she continued. “After doing a juice cleanse, I'm motivated to eat healthier and not emotionally. Cleansing is like my meditation. It makes me stop, focus and think about what I'm putting into my body. I'm making a commitment to my health and hitting the reset button.”

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”

Allina Health reports that squats are very beneficial to do. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong. Include squats in your exercise routine two to three days a week to reap the benefits from this dynamite move.”

Viciconte is also seen doing hip thrusts in her Instagram video. Gymless states that the exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Hip thrusts, as a compound movement, aid in increasing lower body strength and power, enhancing athletic abilities such as running, jumping, and powerlifting. By strengthening the posterior chain muscles, you can enhance your posture and lower the risk of back pain and muscle strain. Strong glutes and hamstrings contribute to hip and knee stability, minimizing injury risks in sports and daily life.”

Viciconte is seen using a stationary bike in the previous Instagram video. Doing this can help strengthen your muscles. Penn State PRO Wellness explained, “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes. If you use a bicycle with handles, you’ll also be able to work your upper body muscles, including your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.”

She Runs

Viciconte shared this Instagram video of herself working out. In it, she is seen doing running exercises. Viciconte captioned it, “When we exercise, our body releases endorphin, a natural substance produced by the brain during and after physical activity. The release of endorphin, also known as the 'joy hormone', helps you relax, reduces stress, anxiety and improves your mood. I always say that it's never too late to start moving, so you know that tomorrow you have no excuse 💪🏻”
