Giancola posted a new selfie in a pink bikini, and looked as young as she did on the glory days of the show. She humorously captioned the photo, "Since when did I become 35.. #Pisces #Birthday 😩🎉☺️." She Drinks Green Juices

Giancola is a big fan of drinking green juices and smoothies as a way of staying healthy. She posted a photo on her Instagram story of herself enjoying a green smoothie she just made. According to a study from PubMed, green juices can help prevent diseases and improve heart health. "Drinking juices might be a potential way to improve cardiovascular health, especially mixtures of juices because they contain a variety of polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals from different fruits and vegetables."

She Runs On The Treadmill

Giancola has a treadmill in her home, and she makes sure to use it as often as she can. She posted a selfie of herself after going for a run on her Instagram story. Giancola captioned the story, "4.5 miles," and her followers could see that she burned 700 calories. Running on a treadmill isn't just good exercise, it's also easier on your body. According to a study from the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sports, "Treadmill running is associated with a lower magnitude of maximum plantar pressure and a lower maximum plantar force at the plantar areas. These results suggest that the plantar load distribution in treadmill running is not the same as the plantar load distribution in running on overground surfaces. Treadmill running may be useful in early rehabilitation programs. Patients with injuries in their lower extremities may benefit from the reduction in plantar loads."

Giancola broke down some of her favorite workout, diet, and wellness tips to SELF. She revealed that she is an avid reader, and loves to enjoy different books at the end of the day. "I recently read The Help and The Best of Me," she says. "Both were on the best sellers list but I enjoy reading biographies, love stories, mysteries and non-fiction novels."

She's An Athlete

In her interview with SELF, Giancola revealed that she grew up playing sports. She also revealed that she still plays sports in her adult life. "I've been playing soccer since I was about nine-years-old," says Giancola. "I play in a women's league indoors now every week with girls from my high school team to stay in shape and keep involved in the sport."

She Eats a Healthy Breakfast

For Giancola, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. She tells SELF that she always tries to eat a healthy breakfast, and opts for things like egg whites and oatmeal with fruit. "Having a great breakfast gives me motivation and energy for the rest of the day," says Giancola.
