Sandara Park is celebrating her birthday in her swimsuit! The K-Pop star, who turned 38 over the weekend, shows off her famous figure in a bathing suit top and a sarong in one of her latest social media posts. "You're so sweet," she captioned the Instagram snap to her nearly 10 million followers, thanking them for their birthday wishes. How does the Korean singer stay so fit? She Was Previously Too Thin

According to Times of India, Sandara's fans were concerned that she was too thin. She decided to gain weight to improve her health. "I'm gaining weight now. Every food is too delicious," she said.

She Drinks Red Wine

Sandara enjoys drinking red wine, which can offer health benefits if consumed in moderation. "Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy," says the Mayo Clinic. "The alcohol and certain substances in red wine called antioxidants may help prevent coronary artery disease, the condition that leads to heart attacks."

She Cheats

While Sandara eats healthy most of the time, she does cheat on occasion. Here she is feasting on burger, fries, and other guilty pleasures. "Lean beef has less fat, but it dries out easily. To add back some juiciness and lower the calories and fat, mix in a purée of sautéed or roasted mushrooms and onions to replace up to one-third of the meat, says Todd Seyfarth, MS, RD, director and chair of the nutrition and dietetics department at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I," says Consumer Reports. "Another option: Replace 20 percent of the meat with cooked cracked bulgur wheat."

She Exercises

Sandara ended up gaining a little too much weight, so she joined a gym and started exercising more. She reportedly does cardio for an hour on an empty stomach every morning, and also works with a personal trainer. She also does a whopping 400 sit ups before bed, according to KPopStarz

She Eats Healthy, Filling Food

When she diets, she focuses on eating healthy, filling foods, like bananas, sweet potatoes, and eggs. "It's not like someone told me to do it, but it's for the sake of my promise to myself! I bought a lot of pretty crop tees last year and the year before last year but never wore them. Shouldn't I wear some this year?!"
