Drew shared some of her beauty and wellness secrets in an interview with New Beauty. She says that she likes to use oil cleansers on her face."My friend Joy Lenz put me on to this amazing cleanser that I'm obsessed with," she says. "It's the only thing I use to remove makeup and wash my face at the end of the day. It's Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil ($50). She was the one that told me that soaps can actually really hurt the skin. So she's like, 'Oh yeah, I only use oil on my face,' and I have definitely seen a difference, using oil for cleanser, and it just melts the makeup off. It's so nice."

She Loves Yoga

Drew tells New Beauty that she loves yoga. "Some of my self-care stuff involves doing yoga, that's a really important one for me. It's grounding and centering and gets me breathing. Sometimes I forget to breathe when I'm working really hard, and if I'm sitting at my desk a lot in the chair, I just need to get my body moving. So that's a big, big self-care thing for me."

Drew opened up about her life and career in an interview with Shondaland.com. "Balance is a big thing for me," she says. "It's work-life balance. It's making sure I have enough time with my family and my community. I can start to get itchy to go do a project and be on a set, and then I get itchy to get back home. As long as I can have both of these things going, it's fun. And now with producing and writing, it has been such a fun, new journey for me, and I get really into it. It's like a blanket of goodness covers me. I love it so much. I like making the choices and decisions, and seeing the locations, and picking the set."

She Advocates For Herself

In her Shondaland.com interview, Drew revealed that she learned to advocate for herself during her time on Grey's. "What was really great is that I had amazing examples in front of me," she says. "Like Sandra Oh, who always had a voice on that set. She was always advocating for her character with the writers, had ideas, and was navigating stuff. I was like, if Sandra can do it, then maybe I can also do it."

She Supports Women

Drew is all about advocating for women. She shared this post on Instagram for International Women's Day, which encouraged people to share women's stories in the media. Drew captioned it, "Nothing compares to the strength and vulnerability of a woman's story and nothing should get in the way of expressing it either. Let's continue to amplify women's voices everyday, in our daily lives, on screen, on paper and beyond."
