1. She Makes Time For Herself Each Day

Gellar revealed some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Bustle. She says that she always makes self-care a priority, and does things at the end of each day to unwind. “Sometimes, I’m so tired at the end of the day I just want to go to bed, but I have to take time for myself to take a bath, read a book, or catch up with my friends so I don’t lose myself in the minutiae of the day.”
2. She Uses An Eye Pillow

Sleep is extremely important to Gellar. She tells Bustle that she likes to use an eye pillow to help her sleep each night. “I can sleep anywhere if I have this weighted sand eye pillow. I was traveling once, and TSA took it away from me. I was devastated. The anxiety of going to sleep without it was very difficult for me. I also need it to be cold. I cannot sleep if I’m too hot.”
3. She Stays Positive And Looks Ahead

In her Bustle interview, Gellar was asked what piece of advice she would give to people. The actress answered, “There was one piece of advice I got when I had my first baby. It’s to add ‘for now’ to the end of every sentence. You can tailor it to anything. Like, my baby won’t eat — for now. I’m not sleeping — for now. I have a lot of anxiety — for now. Things will end. Who knows, maybe something worse will come along, or maybe you’ll feel better. But when you add ‘for now’ at the end of a sentence, it reminds you that what’s happening is just for this moment.”
4. She Makes Green Juices Before A Workout

Gellar tells WhoWhatWear that she likes to make a green juice prior to her doing a workout. “My favorite thing is to have a green juice. I go every weekend to the farmers market and I get fresh kale, spinach, celery, and lettuces and I blend it all together. That's my favorite thing before I work out.”
5. She Doesn’t Deprive Herself

When it comes to her diet, Gellar says that she eats healthy, but doesn’t deprive herself. She tells Well + Good, “I love a healthy lifestyle but I don't believe in denying yourself. I believe you should always have the best.” Gellar says that she focuses on eating organic food most of the time.
