Sarah juices every morning, revealing to The/Thirty that she starts her day off with a coffee followed by veggie juice. “My favorite thing is to have a green juice,” she said. “I go every weekend to the farmers market and I get fresh kale, spinach, celery, and lettuces and I blend it all together. That's my favorite thing before I work out.”

2. Do Power Plate Workouts

“I love PlateFit and the feeling of being on a Power Plate,” Gellar revealed when asked about her go-to workout. “I love how quickly I can work out and get such a great exercise.” She also engages in some other forms of exercise. “I love Pilates because it centers me and it also strengthens my body, but I also love being outside, so swimming, hiking, anything like that is great as well.”

3. Get Enough Rest

When asked about her “beauty/self-care must-have,” Sarah offered up an answer that doesn’t cost any money. “It's probably sleep because I need it and I'm very cranky without it,” she revealed.

4. Don’t Pay Attention to Small Weight Gains

Sarah avoids focusing on the numbers on the scale. “I don't believe in trying to trick your body into things,” she told Health. “I eat healthy, I exercise, I love food—but I don't like junk food. I mean, were women. We go up by five pounds, we lose it, depending on the water, the moon, your cycle, whatever. So I just try to maintain.”

5. Firm Up with Cool Sculpting

Sarah isn’t interested in going under the knife at this point in her life. However, she recently revealed to The Guardian that CoolSculpting is one of her go-to treatments. “It was the easiest 30 minutes of my life,” she said. “I just got to lie on a comfy table and read my book. The treatment didn’t hurt, it just felt cold for a few seconds and then I didn’t feel anything. It was very peaceful. I was just happy to have a few minutes to myself, and then I got to leave feeling better about myself – a win-win,” she continued. “I don’t weigh myself, I don’t measure myself but I could tell within a week how my clothing was feeling and fitting, how my jeans were buttoning back up. I was like, ‘I’m gonna go to the gym and work even harder now.’ It gave me my confidence back in such an easy and noninvasive way.”

1. She Takes Days Off

sarah-michelle-gellarSarah Michelle Gellar/Instagram

Gellar always tries to get a workout in. However, she isn’t afraid to take a day off when she needs it. She tells Self that she takes days off when she feels run-down or tired. "I do whatever I can whenever I can, but if I'm tired, it's okay to just be tired," she says. "Your brain needs a rest now and then. Research has found that taking breaks can improve your mood, boost your performance and increase your ability to concentrate and pay attention," says the Cleveland Clinic.

2. She Cooks

Gellar is an avid chef. She loves to cook meals for her family. She tells Express that she increased the amount of cooking she has done when the pandemic hit. “One of the good things that’s come out of Covid is that we’ve had lots of time to cook our favourite food because nobody is racing to get home in time for dinner.”

3. She Cool-Sculpts

Celebrities Visit BuzzFeed's "AM To DM" - October 15, 2019Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images

After having her second child, Gellar found it hard to lose the baby weight. She revealed to Express that she worked out a lot, but still couldn’t lose it. She says that this, and her busy schedule are what made her decide to try Cool-Sculpting. “I just got to lie on a comfy table and read my book. The treatment didn’t hurt, it just felt cold for a few seconds and then I didn’t feel anything. It was very peaceful. I was just happy to have a few minutes to myself, and then I got to leave feeling better about myself – a win-win.”

4. She’s Motivated By Her Clothes

Gellar doesn’t like to weigh herself. She tells Express that she looks to how her clothes fit to motivate her. “I don’t weigh myself, I don’t measure myself, but I could tell within a week how my clothing was feeling and fitting, how my jeans were buttoning back up,” she reveals. “I was like, ‘I’m gonna go to the gym and work even harder now.’ It gave me my confidence back in such an easy and noninvasive way.”

5. She Makes Green Juices

Gellar revealed some of her wellness secrets to WhoWhatWear. She says that she likes to make green juices before she works out, and revealed her recipe to the website. “I go every weekend to the farmers market and I get fresh kale, spinach, celery, and lettuces and I blend it all together. That's my favorite thing before I work out.” "Fiber is important to heart health, digestive health and weight control. Higher fiber intakes reduce chronic disease risk, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and come cancers, according to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. High fiber intakes have also been associated with lower body weight. Daily fiber recommendations include 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men. Just one cup of cooked spinach contains more than 4 grams of fiber," says the University of Rhode Island.

Buffy has gone from killing vampires to killing it in the gym. The Emmy award winning actress and producer is known for her healthy and fit lifestyle, often inspiring fans to do the same. And she showed it off today in a bathing suit. “Weekend me is more fun… weekend me away from home… the most fun,” she captioned the shot. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Doesn’t Like the Scale

"You can't live your life by the scale," she said. "We don't even have one in our house. I've never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates. It's more about how my clothing fits than a number. Besides, if you deny yourself everything because you're so focused on the mirror or the scale, then when do you get to enjoy life?" She recognizes that it’s unhealthy to check the scale every two seconds and beat yourself up. Seeing that number fluctuate might knock you off track and really it’s just bound to happen.

2. She Was Her Own Stunt Woman

The Little Market's International Women's Day LuncheonFrazer Harrison/Getty Images

When Buffy the Vampire Slayer was still running, she loved performing her own action stunts and would often train doing workouts like gymnastics, kickboxing, and martial arts. She still enjoys an intense cardio and strength training workout today, but now she goes for TRX, dance, Pilates, and yoga currently.

3. She Loves Aerial Yoga

102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2021 Presented By Capital One - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/WireImage

Aerial yoga may look graceful and easy, but don’t be fooled. It is a challenging workout and those positions while in the silks are difficult. According to Aerial Yoga Academy, there are various physical, fitness, and mental health benefits. Aerial yoga has been said to improve blood circulation, help with digestion, and spine decompression. It can improve balance, improve focus, and strengthen and tone core muscles among other benefits.

4. She Gets Fit With Friends

102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball – PRESS ROOMVivien Killilea/Getty Images

Sarah Michelle Gellar uses the buddy system, occasionally working out with friends like Shannen Doherty. They choose workouts like dance to break a sweat. “I think I killed her,” joked Doherty as she panned over Sarah laying on the floor in a video after their workout. "You don't necessarily have to always get to the gym," Danielle Johnson, a wellness physical therapist with the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Program. tells the Mayo Clinic. "The one thing I always like to really tell my busy executives, busy moms, busy dads ... that every little bit counts," Johnson says. "So don't ever tell yourself, well, I only have 10 minutes. Ten minutes is great...Taking a walk with a friend for a meeting can be a wonderful thing."

5. She Pushes Herself to Not Be Lazy

It’s so important to make time for health and wellness, even if you’re not in the mood. No one ever regrets working out after they’ve done it. Just push yourself to develop these healthy habits. "I do whatever I can whenever I can, but if I'm tired, it's okay to just be tired," she said. "You know what's really annoying, though? How much better I feel when I do wake up early enough to work out!"

Gellar wrote a cookbook, Stirring Up Fun with Food, with healthy spins on the indulgences she loves, like asparagus fries and cheese muffins. "I've always been a crafty person," she says, "but with food, my expertise has always been in the eating department rather than the cooking department. Still, when I started to experiment, I realized there were all these new ways to merge the things that I loved,” she told Tasting Table.

I love dessert, I'm not afraid to love dessert," she told Well+Good. "I think we all should have beautiful, sweet things. I've never believed in cutting all that out." "Obviously I'm known for being athletic, but I've always indulged in dessert," she says. It's all part of the overall holistic approach to how I take care of my body."

Gellar has supported her Cruel Intentions co-star and friend Selma Blair through Blair’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis. “This is my dear friend @selmablair,” Gellar wrote on Instagram. “Last night she stood on the world stage for the first time, since being diagnosed with MS. And later this week, she is taking an even bigger step, and speaking publicly on @goodmorningamerica (with, my girl crush @robinrobertsgma ) To say I’m proud, would be a gross understatement. When I have a cold, I want to hide from the world under my covers. But not Selma. She is facing this diagnosis, the way she faces everything, with dignity, grace and head on. I know the support and encouragement that she has received on this platform has truly been a source of strength for her. This is not an easy journey, but Selma will not let this define her.”

While you were unwrapping presents, many celebrities were packing their suitcases, off to far-flung and sunny locales for the holiday break—and they made sure to bring their swimwear. How did Nicole Scherzinger, Dua Lipa, Katharine McPhee, Sarah Michelle Gellar and many more spend their time—and how to they stay so fit? Read on to see 10 stars who have stayed in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger is always looking fit in her photos. And her boyfriend Thom Evans “is always there for the vibe checks,” she captioned one post near Christmas. In it, she and her partner are on the beach in bathing suits, dancing to the throbbing tune of MizOrMac’s Bites The Dust. Her wellness advice: "Not been feeling the greatest lately, so got outta my head and sweat it out…. No one is gonna do it for you. So DO YOU and DO IT FOR YOU. Stay strong family, find the good light and keep shining.”

2. Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa posted a series of swimsuit selfies from the beach, captioning them "see ya in 2022". Earlier this week, she posted more swimsuit photos, “living on island time.” She works out first thing in the morning and tries to remain authentic to herself. "Being a female pop artist, you have to spend a lot of time proving yourself. People think I’m just this ‘industry thing’ but every song I’ve written is real, authentic and mine,” she told Refinery29.

3. Savannah Guthrie

In honor of Guthrie’s 50th birthday, colleague Al Roker posted a photo of the two in the pool together. “I am so thrilled my dear friend @savannahguthrie is now halfway to a #smuckersjar I can’t wait to see what the next 50 bring!! #happybirthday Savvie G!!” he wrote. “I’ve never once felt good about how I looked on the outside,” she told Health for its May cover in 2019. “I think all of us women spend so much time not feeling like we measure up. And what a waste of energy. I’m not there yet, but that’s my goal.”

4. Katharine McPhee

McPhee made headlines this week twice—once when her husband, David Foster, posted a swimsuit picture of her with the caption “what baby”—a reference to her fit postpartum body—and then later when she clapped back at haters of his image and caption. She said: “ok the press around my husbands photo he posted of me is so dumb… so I hope this photo helps lol. I’m sorry but we are not sorry. And for all of you who can’t deal with it maybe this helps. I’ve struggled with weight my whole 20s and 30. I’ve gone up and down 10 times over. Does that make you feel better? There is nothing wrong with that -most people do. I lost this baby weight without dieting. Zero. Diets are the worst and I’ve had zero pressure from anyone. I’ve let me body do its thing and found a great workout. That’s it. And guess what? I’ll probably gain weight again at some point too. Who cares? BUT people freaking out about what my husband captioned seriously get a life... Stop being so offended by what people post who have zero impact on your life and move on. Maybe you should have more of an attitude of like, let’s say… “oh that’s nice he thinks his wife is hot.” I cannot with this overly sensitive society right now. But as Taylor Swift said haters gonna hate. byyeeee”

5. Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union seemed to be on an endless vacation in paradise, posting multiple images in swimsuits. “In addition to doing 15 to 20 minutes of cardio daily, Union credits her toned body to a regular combination of strength training and Pilates,” says Marie Claire. "I'm not a morning person, but I have to work out early because of my schedule.”

6. Catherine Zeta-Jones

“Sun’s out,” Zeta-Jones captioned a photo of herself in a bathing suit. How does she stay fit? “We’re big on family meals ... we stop and we sit down and we have lunch,” she once said. "Something light that doesn't weigh me down too much." Such as: "A spinach-arugula mix of leaves, pine nuts, tomatoes…I sometimes put a little blue cheese…I like to throw some dried cranberries in," she says.

7. Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a few swimsuit photos this week, and why not; she looks fantastic at age 44, and she had “vacation mode activated.” “Sometimes, I’m so tired at the end of the day I just want to go to bed, but I have to take time for myself to take a bath, read a book, or catch up with my friends so I don’t lose myself in the minutiae of the day,” she tells Bustle. In the morning: “Coffee. Sometimes a little Stevia and that’s it. It makes up for my daughter. She orders those ridiculous Starbucks secret menu things and I’m, like, mortified. I’ll just take my iced coffee. I pretend I don’t know her at Starbucks.”

8. Molly Sims

The model frequently posts photos looking great in swimwear, and this week was no exception. She stays lean by keeping it green: "I'll do either a salmon salad with butter lettuce or mesclun greens and black olives plus, sweet potatoes for heartiness and roasted almonds for crunch," she tells Women’s Health. "I love a hearty salad."

9. Emma Hernan

Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan celebrated her birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She stays healthy by eating right, and launched her own vegan food company. “For many Americans, meals center around the meat. After all the Department of Agriculture reports that 222 pounds of meat are sold per person per year in the U.S. But when researchers asked nearly 70,000 volunteers about their diets, then tracked them over time, they found lower cancer rates among people who didn't eat meat at all,” reports the Mayo Clinic. “In fact, vegans — those who don't eat any animal products including fish, dairy or eggs — appeared to have the lowest rates of cancer of any diet. Next in line were vegetarians, who avoid meat but may eat fish or foods that come from animals, such as milk or eggs.”

10. Helena Christensen

The supermodel looked great in a bathing suit. Her secret? "Sprint, don't run, because that immediately sparks your metabolism and stuns your body by engaging your muscle groups in a very explosive way," she told Bazaar. "I can't run for 40 minutes at the same pace, listening to music. I will do 20 minutes and then I'm dying. I don't do the long, methodical routines of swimming 40 laps either. I want to be in the ocean fighting waves, not being in the pool staring at the clock and only seven minutes has passed when I'm already exhausted."

Sharvari isn’t just making waves in the film industry—she’s dominating the fitness game too. Known for her roles in Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa, the rising star proves that strength and discipline extend far beyond the big screen.
In her latest Instagram post, Sharvari showcased her grit with a hardcore beach workout, flipping a massive tire in the sand. Dressed in a sleek black workout set, she didn’t just make the workout look effortless—she made it look empowering. Adding a playful pun to her caption, she wrote, “Never tyre’d of a good beach workout.”
So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
