Landry famously lost a significant amount of weight, which encouraged her to also work on her inner self. "I had recently lost 100lbs and had a healthy social media following because of it," she says. "But I never really found happiness in my body like I expected weight loss to bring me, which caused me to have to do a lot of inner work, which spilled over into outer work."

Health Mantra

Landry follows a simple health mantra. "Don't overcomplicate it," she says. "We don't have to be the best in the gym, the perfect diet (it doesn't exist) or the most perfect version of ourselves at all times. Because we already are. When we start honoring our days, we stop living in our past or looking only at the future. Small, individual choices can add up to a healthy and beautiful life."

Honest About Workouts

Landry is honest about not enjoying working out—but she loves the endorphin rush afterwards. "I'm someone who really hates all workouts," she admits. "I can't escape it! It's just who I AM! However, I love the FEELING afterward. Enough that I keep going back. I would say I'm somewhere between dancing in my bedroom to Britney Spears and weight lifting!"

Plant-Based Diet

Landry follows a vegan, plant-based diet. "Turns out, I'm pretty badly intolerant to both gluten and dairy (and I thought these were fake allergies…)," she says. "Since cutting those out, I additionally went vegan about 2 years ago and have really enjoyed NOT being sick, and loving on veggies."

Importance of Self-Love

Self-love is something Landry works on every day. "For me, I've found that self-love has to be in action and not in just feeling," she says. "The feeling comes and goes, like it often can in relationships. So, I have to show up in ways that I know is loving to my body. And to be honest, the more I've worked on my self-love, I've just thought about my body less, which allows me to show up more in life and in the memories forming around me every day."
