The Vanderpump Rules star flaunts her fabulous figure in a swimsuit via her latest social media snap, lounging in Newport. “Not taking any calls,” she captioned the Instagram photo. 1. She Carb Cycles

Scheana famously lost a ton of weight in 2016 by carb cycling. She started working with trainer-nutritionist Seth Browning on a carb-cycling plan, rotating days of eating carbs with days of totally skipping them. "When we first started I was doing three days of no carbs and one day of healthy carbs—and that helped kick my body into shape," she told Life & Style per Women’s Health. An average meal on a no-carb day? "Salmon with lots of grilled vegetables."

2. She Hydrates

Scheana also prioritizes hydration, drinking lots of water throughout the day. "That is the one thing I do every meal," she told Life & Style. "To determine how much water you need, Dr. Sukol suggests considering these four factors," says the Cleveland Clinic: "Activity level: If you work out a lot or are moving all day long, drink more water. Location: If you find yourself in a warmer climate or at higher altitudes, you’ll probably want to increase your water intake. Metabolism: If you think you have a speedy metabolism and your body seems to need more fuel to keep its engines revved, you may want to take some extra sips during the day. Size: The more you weigh, the more water your body tends to need."

3. She Works Out

Scheana also makes sure to break a sweat almost daily. She told Us Weekly that she trains hard four to five days a week, mixing up total body workouts with ones that are more focused on body parts, like a day strictly focused on legs, butt, or core.

4. She Is Transparent

She also makes sure to be totally transparent. “I realized that it’s so much more relatable putting your truth out there than trying to pretend that everything’s perfect,” she told Us Weekly. “Even just, like, getting Botox or fillers or stupid like things like that. I’m going to talk about what I do because it’s, like, no I don’t just look like this, or it’s makeup.”

5. She Is Open About Body Image Issues

Sheana struggled with body image issues after welcoming her first child in 2021. “In the beginning of the season, you’ll see a lot of that story play out,” Shay told Us Weekly when asked if she felt pressured to get back in shape after giving birth. “I know that you’re never supposed to compare yourself to others, but it was very difficult for me and kind of impossible, when I have another friend who just had a baby and [they] bounce back immediately. She’s strutting around in a string bikini and I’m trying to cover up, but still look cute.”
