1. Find Joy in Fitness

If you want a fit figure like Shakti, try enjoying exercise. “I think being fit is an indispensable ingredient for holistic well-being. Being in the business of the entertainment, fitness plays a more imperative role because there is a corporal representation to constantly cater to. I’m fit largely because I enjoy being fit, so 90 per cent free will and 10 per cent compulsion,” she told DNA India.

2. Do Yoga

Shakti also suggests striking a post. “I always find the time to exercise, I don’t really make excuses,” she added. One of her favorite forms of fitness? “I like to start my day with meditation followed by yoga and then exercise. So I’ll wake up three hours prior to my call time on sets in case I’m shooting and make sure I burn those calories,” she said. She even manages to slip in exercise while on the set. “I have a yoga mat in my vanity van,” she added.

3. Dance Off Calories

Shakti revealed to DNA that dancing helps her stay fit. She told DNA, “it’s also important to note that dance is a great form of exercise and I’m constantly burning calories because I’m busy dancing all-day long.”

4. Workout Daily

Exercise is a daily job for Shakti. “I generally workout every day for a minimum of 30 minutes with a 15 minute warm up and in case I have extra time then 60 minutes,” she told DNA. “My workouts include breathing exercises like Kapal Bhati, ab crunches and strength training. Breathing is crucial in dancing and so, it is an important part of my exercises.”

5. Practice Discipline with Your Diet

“I’m pretty disciplined with my diet and I have been maintaining this routine for years now. Since childhood, I have been a very careful eater as I always stayed away from fried food,” Shakti told DNA. She starts with a “heavy” breakfast including fruits, cereals, juices, and eggs, and she makes sure to hydrate. “I sip on a lot of water throughout the day,” she added. For lunch she eats roti or brown rice, salad, tandoor, and curd. “For dinner, I have lots of steamed vegetables and soup. I prefer to stay away from packaged foods and junk during the week and I’m very conscious of the nutritional factor in the food. Indian cuisine is my favorite.”

6. Give Yourself Cheat Days

Shaki suggests indulging one day a week. “I do cheat on Sundays when I eat whatever I fancy. I’m not a foodie and I don’t believe in experimenting with food but also not completely restricting my cravings. You have one life and you have to live it, in a disciplined manner!” she said.

1. She Didn’t Let Body Shaming Defeat Her

Growing up in the public eye was difficult for Shroff. She was often subjected to criticism of her body and appearance. However, she tells India Today that she let those comments motivate her. “Growing up, I was on the heavier side and for a lot of my years growing up till I was about 15 years old, I was always overweight. And at the time, I feel like I allowed a lot of these outside voices to really impact me and influence my mindset. And there were a lot of negative things being said, especially when I would go out with my father and there were the media and paparazzi. Then photos were being put out there…But where a lot of people could feel defeated and sort of pulled down, I used that as motivation.”

2. She Looks Up To Her Brother

Shroff’s older brother, Tiger, is one of her main sources of inspiration. She told The Hindustan Times, “Tiger has always been my inspiration. I always say that I have been blessed to grow up with someone like him. Can you imagine living a life with a real-life superhero? There is so much to look up to…I’m always the one to look at the silver lining, and who can say they had a brother like Tiger Shroff to grow up with? Or who can say that they have that kind of inspiration in their house every single day when they wake up?”

3. She Works Out Her Legs

Shroff shares a lot of her favorite exercises on her Instagram. In this video, she shared some of her favorite leg and lower body exercises. When Chandna signed on to appear in Naagin 5, she had to get in shape. She shared her process to Times Of India. "I had to say bye-bye to all the happy weight and bring a transformation because my character needed that,” she explained. “If you are playing a naagin you need to look sexy, fit and someone who can easily do the stunts. The previous seasons' actresses, who played naagins, had already set a bar so high, that it was important to look different and set a new trend."

In Naagin 5, Chandna did a lot of her own stunts. "When I signed up for the show, I did not have time to go to the gym, because we were shooting for 12-13 hours,” she tells Times Of India. “Naagin is not a show that requires you to be at one place throughout the day. The show had a fast pace, we had to run around a lot because of outdoor scenes and do a lot of stunts and action scenes. This helped me burn my calories, so I was burning good calories on the sets, shooting for 12-13 hours."

Chandna opened up about her diet to Times Of India. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet. "I used to eat bhakhri, rice, veggies, chicken and fish. I also consumed jowar bhakhris. I kept away from junk food but I had my 'cheat' days when I used to go out and eat pav bhaji and pizza. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”
