Her Diet Is Healthy

Shama explained to Celeb Fitness that she maintains a healthy diet. "I prefer eating healthy food and avoid oily stuff and rice. Instead of regular rotis, I have multi-grained rotis. My diet comprises a lot of proteins and less carbohydrates. Food with more fibre, such as egg whites, chicken, and fish form a big part of my diet," she said.

She Switches Up Her Diet When Her Needs Change

Because Shama's needs and goals are constantly shifting, she changes her diet accordingly. "Right now I'm focusing on good health, because I had some health issues in the last year," she said in a video detailing her diet.

She Dabbles in Intermittent Fasting

Shama also spaces her meals, aka intermittent fasting. "Giving gap is very very important," she explained. There are various methods of time restricted eating, according to the Mayo Clinic.

  • Alternate-day fasting. Eat a normal diet one day and either completely fast or have one small meal (less than 500 calories) the next day.
  • 5:2 fasting. Eat a normal diet five days a week and fast two days a week.
  • Daily time-restricted fasting. Eat normally but only within an eight-hour window each day. For example, skip breakfast but eat lunch around noon and dinner by 8 p.m.," they explain.

She Loves Yoga

Shama is a big fan of yogi, regularly striking a pose on social media. "This one was tough but soooo liberating, powerful strengthening and all glute / back muscle opening," she captioned this photo shared to Instagram.

She Meditates

Sikander gets her zen on via meditation, which helps her deal with online trolls. "Trolls rarely affect me now, all thanks to the meditation that I practice on a regular basis. That helps me keep calm," she told Indian Express.

She Prioritizes Self-Care

Sikander prioritizes self-care. "I just love going to spas and indulging myself in massages at least once a week. Sleeping is another great way to relax. Listening to soft music helps me unwind after a hard day's work. Traveling is another passion that always rejuvenates me," she told Celeb Fitness.
