1. She Belly Dances
Kapoor belly dances with her instructor Sanjana Muthreja. “Belly dancing is really a full body workout,” the teacher told Vogue India. “It involves a lot of core work and engages your hips. It not only helps as a cardiovascular workout (you can lose up to a 1000 calories in one Tahitian class due to the constant explosive movements), but it also strengthens the core muscles, which helps to stabilize the spine.”
2. She Hits the Gym
“Weights before dates😈😏💪🏽😜😉,” Shanaya captioned an Instagram photo, of her at the gym. (“Make yourself proud,” read a motto painted above her. “Weight training keeps your muscles strong and allows for good joint stability. Performing weight training with proper form is critical, as is starting with low loads and higher repetitions for joint safety. Before starting a weight training program, you should seek the advice of a trained professional such as a physical therapist or exercise physiologist to develop the optimal program,” says the Cleveland Clinic.
3. She Focuses on the Positives

As the child of famous people, "Judgements are an inevitable part of the work I am pursuing, but I stay positive and focus on the people who are always cheering me on, whether it be followers on Instagram or the press/media, I focus on their love and support, then the rest just fades out for me! Focusing on the positives is the way to be," she has said.
4. She Does Yoga and Pilates

Yoga and Pilates are essential toward working your core and relaxing your mind. “There’s a therapeutic, preventative benefit to Pilates,” lead yoga therapist Judi Bar tells the Cleveland Clinic, “because as it’s isolating and relaxing muscle groups, it strengthens them with control and breath.” “It can also, she says, give you more resilience and helps with your alignment in a way that also improves your posture, leading you to walk straighter and sturdier," adds the Clinic.
5. She Hydrates

“For most people, water is the best thing to drink to stay hydrated. Sources of water also include foods, such fruits and vegetables which contain a high percentage of water. Sports drinks with electrolytes, may be useful for people doing high intensity, vigorous exercise in very hot weather, though they tend to be high in added sugars and calories,” says the American Heart Association. “It’s healthier to drink water while you’re exercising, and then when you’re done, eat a healthy snack like orange slices, bananas or a small handful of unsalted nuts,” says John Batson, M.D, a sports medicine physician with Lowcountry Spine & Sport in Hilton Head Island, S.C., and an American Heart Association volunteer.
