Shanina Shaik in Bathing Suit Says "Oh Baby"
Model Shanina Shaik is currently expecting her first child. And she is still rocking some bikinis. Shaik posted a new mirror selfie on Instagram. Shaik tells The Wellnest that she likes to cook healthy meals for herself. She also revealed some of her favorite recipes to the website. "I love cooking a variety of meals, but roasted fish and pastas are my favorite. And since I have the extra time now, I've been testing my cooking skills. I built the courage to make Avgolemono, my favorite Greek soup with lemon, chicken, and rice."
She Works Out On A Regular Basis
Shaik revealed some of her wellness secrets to Women's Health. She says that she tries to workout on a regular basis. "I work out four to five times a week. For about an hour and a half – either with my trainer Justin Gelband or my local gym, the Dog Pound, in New York."
She Mixes It Up
Shaik tells Women's Health that she likes to do a variety of different workouts. "I mix it up – either with pilates-type moves or high intensity cardio like skipping or cycling. I do a lot of stretching and toning moves using small weights with higher reps to achieve that long lean look. I like to mix my workouts so I don't get bored with going to the gym, plus it's really good for your body, because it doesn't know what to expect."
She Eats Food That's Good For Her Blood Type
Shaik tells Women's Health that she likes to eat food that benefits her specific blood type. "For the past five years, I've been eating according to my blood type – O positive. I've found that really works for me. I first heard about it by talking to other models, then researching it myself, and it's been trial and error over the years. I start with an egg-white omelette and a piece of fruit for breakfast; chicken or fish and a salad for lunch, and a small dinner of protein and veggies."
She Works Out While Traveling
Shaik has a busy schedule and has to do a lot of traveling. However, she makes sure to still get some exercise when she's on the road. Shaik spilled her secrets to Women's Health, saying, "I pack resistance bands and a skipping rope and workout in my room. Also there are some great YouTube videos you can do anywhere – Victoria's Secret has one called Train Like an Angel and Body by Simone has some great videos too – they're really hard!"
