Sharon Gaffka in Bathing Suit "Sweats Out The Stress"

Here's how she stays fit.

Sharon Gaffka, the Love Island star and activist, just posted a brand new photo on Instagram. In it, she enjoyed time in a sauna. She wore a yellow bathing suit, to both show off her figure, and cope with the hot temperature. Gaffka captioned the post, "Sweat out the stress." "Beyond pleasure and relaxation, emerging evidence suggests that sauna bathing has several health benefits, which include reduction in the risk of vascular diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease (CVD), stroke, and neurocognitive diseases; nonvascular conditions such as pulmonary diseases including common flu; mortality; treatment of specific skin conditions; as well as pain in conditions such as rheumatic diseases and headache," says the Mayo Clinic. She Gets Healthy Meals From A Trainer

Gaffka broke down her favorite foods and meals to Closer Online. She revealed that she eats pretty healthy, and a large part of that is because she gets input from a trainer. "I have a set meal plan from a personal trainer to keep me on track. I have a nice coffee machine, so I'll make myself a coconut flat white first thing. Then I'll have a little bit of orange juice and some Coco Pops. For a treat, I'll have an almond croissant or cinnamon and raisin fruit loaf. Lunch varies between chicken, turkey, fish, with raw spinach and lots of other veggies. I might put it all in a wholegrain wrap or serve it with rice. Dinner will either be pasta or turkey Bolognese."

She Committed To Working Out

Gaffka notably lost a lot of weight after leaving Love Island, which made several people clamour for her secrets. However, her actual secrets weren't super complicated or out of the ordinary. Gaffka wrote on her Instagram story that she committed to intense workouts multiple days a week, and that's how she lost the weight. "I lost loads of body fat and gained muscle, running 20 miles a week and weight training 4x a week."

She's Doing What She Loves

Gaffka has taken on a lot of projects since leaving Love Island, mainly her work on an anti-spiking campaign. She tells POPSugar that she decided to take on projects that make her happy at all times, instead of doing what she thinks that she is supposed to do. "I'm happy now that I'm doing something that I enjoy and that I'm in control of what I do — it's more fulfilling. Working on things like the spiking campaign — that's something that's really positive, and knowing that I'm having a positive impact on young women through my social media is something that I'm really happy about."

She's An Activist

Gaffka is an activist, especially when it comes to women's rights. She opened up about her past with spiking, as a way of encouraging others to speak out and take action. Since then, she's met with local representatives and written letters to help advance her causes. "The thing that kick-started it for me was hearing how much of a big issue it's becoming, people bringing it to the forefront — but it's not a new thing, and it's not something that's ever going to go away," she told POPSugar. "It's not even something that's only just started. If there's one thing that I always said I wanted to do with the platform I've been given, it was to help other people, and this was just something that I naturally related to. I didn't expect to be as heavily involved as I've become, but it's just been a bit of a natural progression for me."

She Accepts Her Body In All Forms

Gaffka is all about body positivity and acceptance. She wrote on her Instagram story that she has worked to be happy with her body throughout all it's changes. "My body is 100% normal at all stages! My stomach is never fully flat, because I have a womb and you bloat throughout the day. 'When I sit down my tummy rolls and sticks out (as everyone does). My thighs hold a majority of my weight, sometimes they have cellulite, sometimes they don't, but they always 100% jiggle. I have days where I have to jump to put certain trousers on and get frustrated that something that fit me yesterday didn't fit me today. Life for me is about balance."
