She Doesn't Really Drink

Drinking alcohol is not something Sharon really cared too much about to begin with, so cutting it out wasn't that big of a deal. "I drank so little to begin with. But seven years ago, I was training, and I wanted to get really cut up," she said. "I looked at Madonna — we're the same age — and I asked my trainer, 'What am I not doing? Find out what she's doing!' She came back and said, 'I don't think she drinks any alcohol.' So I decided to try zero for three months. And I saw a huge difference!"

She Chooses Low Glycemic Foods

Sharon Stone chooses foods that are low in glycemic index like lentils and vegetables. She picks a lot of lean proteins like seafood, lean meat like chicken breast, and eggs. "I don't eat a lot of processed food, though I haven't been able to get potato chips out of my mind!" she admits. According to the Mayo Clinic, "You might choose to follow the GI diet because you want to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, need help planning and eating healthier meals, or need help maintaining blood sugar levels as part of a diabetes treatment plan."

She Enjoys Dancing

Sharon Stone really enjoys dancing to stay fit and in shape. Dancing can be an amazing aerobic exercise and a great mood lifter, leaving you feeling happier and more energetic than before. "Dance movement therapy and dance improve mood, and can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety," according to a study in The Arts in Psychotherapy.

She Mixes Things Up

So she doesn't get bored in the gym, Sharon generally mixes up her workouts, choosing different activities like pilates, stretching, and weightlifting. "Every time I exercise, I do something different based on which areas need to get in motion," she said.

She Enjoys Yoga
