1

Weight Training, Pilates, and Yoga

Sharvari mixes up her workouts to keep things interesting. "To balance my hormone levels, I try to work out at least five times a week. I do weight training twice and Pilates thrice," she says. "On a busy day, I try to get 10 surya namaskars done. It increases your heart rate, plus yoga centers me and reduces my cortisol levels too."

2

Sensible About Success

Sharvari is down-to-earth and sensible about her career. "For me, success is going back home, going to bed knowing that I did my best," she says. "I think that not just in terms of being on sets but also as a person. If I have done my best for the day and I am getting a good night's sleep, then I think it's success enough for me for the day."

3

She Avoids Sugar

Sharvari is careful not to consume too much sugar. "My whole wellness routine revolves around my skin. I've given up dairy and I'm trying to eat less sugar," she says. "My favorite juice is chock-full of hydrating, skin-healthy ingredients too—I blitz spinach, cucumber, mint and amla and drink it every morning."

4

Social Media and Stress

Sharvari refuses to let social media cause her stress. "I come from the Gen Z or millennial phase whatever people call it where social media has pretty much been around in our lives irrespective of whether you are an actor or not," she says. "I have friends who click more and better pictures than mine. People won't believe it but I swear I am a photographer when it comes to my friends. They make me click their pictures. For us, it's just a very common thing and social media doesn't come with a certain amount of pressure where you have to show a certain personality. I have been on Facebook since I was in school. We are kind of used to this. For us, it's still fun. But I think when you make it seem like something stressful then it would add on to your stress. If you just keep it up as fun then I think it will be fine."

5

Skincare First

Sharvari prioritizes skincare. "Paying attention to my skincare routine is important because I struggle with acne. I suffer from PCOS, so every month I'm contending with a different kind of skin," she says. "I actually enjoy turning a product around and reading the ingredients. If I see an ingredient that I'm not familiar with, I'm the first to Google it to see whether it'll work for me. When you have an issue or problem points, you'll do anything you can to find a way to fix it. I am always looking for solutions and I see a real ROI on it. When you're confident about your body, your skin, and your mental state, that's true wellness to me."
