Shefali Jariwala, aka the Kaanta Laga Girl and a star of Bigg Boss 13, is known for her beauty. And it takes a lot of work to stay glowing and healthy. After all, she’s been on dance reality shows Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7, so knows how to stay fit. That was on display in her new swimsuit photo. "It's Wednesday. Take a break…. #pooltimefun #wednesdaymood  #pooltime #summer #love #summertime #goodvibes #waterbaby #mermaid #positivevibesonly #instalike #chill #beattheheat," she captioned it. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Shefali Jariwala stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Fitness is Important to Her

“Being fit makes me feel healthier and it also helps in maintaining a relaxed state of mind. Diet coupled with gymming makes for a powerful recipe for good health. So for me, it’s always gym with a healthy diet,” she told the Indian Express. “Sports nutrition focuses on good eating habits all the time, but also may focus on carbohydrates. For example, athletes training for endurance events may eat more carbohydrates in their diets in the days before the event to boost their energy and performance. Protein for muscle repair and growth is another important aspect of sports nutrition,” says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Exercises Regularly

Shefali was on Big Boss 13. “Regular exercise helped me cope with the pressure in the BB house. I tried working out at least three days a week. We used to perform tasks thrice a week those were also physically strenuous but I had to keep working on my strength and endurance on non-task days. I also did pool workouts,” she told Indian Express.

3. This is Her Combo for Good Health

“Being fit makes me feel healthier and it also helps in maintaining a relaxed state of mind. Diet coupled with gymming makes for a powerful recipe for good health. So for me, it’s always gym with a healthy diet,” she told Indian Express.

4. She Uses Baby Oil

“Not a makeup product, but, I swear by a makeup remover actually, Johnson & Johnson baby oil. It removes my makeup like magic and it is very important for good healthy skin to be absolutely makeup-free, especially before bed. But, when it comes to a makeup product, I love kajal. Whenever my face starts looking dull I simply apply kajal,” she told HZ.

5. She Had Seizures in the Past

“I had an epilepsy seizure at the age of 15. I remember at that time I was under tremendous pressure to do well in my studies. Stress and anxiety can lead to seizures. It's interrelated, you could get a seizure due to depression and vice versa. I have got seizures in classrooms, backstage, while on roads, and somewhere that lowered my self-esteem,” she once said. “After I did ‘Kaanta Laga’, people asked me why I didn't do more work. I can now say that it was because of the epilepsy seizures that I couldn’t take up much work. I didn't know when I would get my next seizure. This went on for 15 years. Today, I am nine years seizure-free. I am proud of myself because I managed my depression, panic attacks and anxiety naturally and with the help of a strong support system,” she said.

Shannon Singh, the Love Island star, model, influencer, and fashion icon, recently spent the weekend at a beach in London, taking advantage of the warm weather. 1. She Has Self-Care Days

Singh revealed some of her wellness secrets to Closer Online. She says that she thinks self-care is a big part of wellness and overall health. Singh says that she makes sure to make days to herself whenever she can. "I think self-care to me is associated with health. First of all, if I have a day off, I'll have a long lie-in. I'll spend the whole day in my pyjamas if I have to!”

2. She Makes Her Own Juices

London Celebrity Sightings - November 24, 2021Ricky Vigil/GC Images

Singh loves to enjoy juices, and she tells Closer Online some of her favorite recipes. “I always make a morning juice, my go-to green juice recipe is spinach, cucumber, ginger, lemon and apple. It's honestly delicious. Juices are so good for staying healthy.” "Consider blending instead of juicing. Blending the edible parts of fruits and vegetables produces a drink that contains more healthy phytonutrients and fiber. Fiber can help you feel full," says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Takes Breaks From Social Media

While Singh is an influencer, she tries to not let social media run her life. She tells Closer Online that she takes social media breaks when she can. "I try not to be on my phone too much on a self-care day, social media can be a toxic place where you compare yourself to other people with unattainable lifestyles.”

4. She Makes Time To Relax

The Visionary Honours Awards 2022Dave Benett/Getty Images

Singh tells Closer Online that she loves to have relaxation periods each day. “I'll sit and watch Netflix or listen to music. I know it sounds weird but cleaning also brings me a little bit of therapy. I'll really clean my room and make sure it's fresh, change my bed and then get my face mask on. I'm not going to lie, I also sometimes love a glass of red wine on an evening, too."

5. She Started a Campaign to Love Yourself

Boohoo Face Of Launch PartyJoe Maher/Getty Images

"I'm so so excited to launch my own wee social media campaign called #Ilovemine,” she said once. "It's time to stop giving our 'likes' to other people and to start liking ourselves. We deserve to celebrate ourselves. I want us all to start celebrating what we like and love about ourselves." She added: "Every day I want to see you posting a positive message about yourselves that I will be sharing and reposting! Whether it be you celebrating your kindness, your creativity, your eyes, your good hair day, the birthmark you've always loathed - post something unique to you that you might not have always shown kindness to in the past."

Singer and actress Sophie Choudry, British-born but big in India, was asked by a fan to share an unseen image of her in the Maldives, and the wish was granted. In between performances and TV and movie roles, she makes time for herself, so she can look good and feel her best. "You lose yourself in things you love..You find yourself there too," she said recently. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Sophie Choudry stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Says "Take 20 Minutes a Day" for Physical Activity

sophie-choudry-maldivesSophie Choudry/Instagram

During the worst of lockdown, Choudry posted a message. "With everything that’s going on I haven’t been as motivated as I usually am. But I decided I need to snap out of it & realised even 20 mins of physical activity a day can make a world of difference! So while we are consumed by so many emotions & trying to stay safe, take time out for yourself!! Let’s Go💪🏼" she captioned a video of herself on a trampoline. Eva Longoria is another trampoline fanatic. "Saturday plans 👟💪🏽☀️" she captioned one image, rolling hers out for use.

2. She Hits The Beach

INDIA-CINEMA-BOLLYWOODSUJIT JAISWAL/AFP via Getty Images

Choudry loves to enjoy time at the beach, and swimming in the ocean. She posted this photo of herself in the water on Instagram. Even if it's winter where you are, head out. "Walking and running are the easiest of the outdoor exercises to keep up during the cold winter months as they don’t really require much in the way of extra gear or certain conditions. As long as it’s not too cold, you can pretty much put on your shoes and, with some extra preparation, hit the road," says the Mayo Clinic. "Just be careful about sidewalk conditions: surfaces can often be uneven which can cause injuries if you’re not paying attention. And do your best to keep to clear sidewalks as snow and ice can make things even more treacherous."

3. She Does Pilates

Choudry posts a lot of photos and videos of herself working out on Instagram. One of her go-to workouts is doing Pilates. She posted this video of herself doing the teaser Pilates pose with a bar, and holding it. She captioned the video, “Teaser. No seriously, that's what this exercise is called!”

4. She Does Yoga

Entertainment India 2010Prodip Guha/Getty Images

Choudry revealed on Instagram that she has started to practice yoga, and that the pandemic really made her pick it up. She wrote in the caption, “Even though I’m more of a Pilates girl, this past year has made me appreciate the importance of stretching & breathing for your mind, body & soul. Happy Yoga Day.” "When you’re first getting started with your home yoga practice, there’s nothing wrong with following along with an app or a video. But know that you have the option to create a more personal practice once you feel comfortable enough to do so. You don’t have to do a 30- or 60-minute flow-based session every time. You can do a couple of yoga poses and meditate, you can stretch do and breath work or you can meditate the entire time. The ultimate goal is to create a practice that serves you," says the Cleveland Clinic.

5. She Works Out Her Lower Body

Choudry doesn’t skip leg day, or other lower body exercises. She has posted videos on Instagram of herself working out her lower body at the gym. In this video, she is seen doing kettlebell squats and raises, kettlebell lunges, and lunges with an exercise ball. In this video, she is seen doing donkey kicks and squats with a friend. "There are many reasons for keeping the legs strong including reducing fall risk, improving metabolism, and getting out of a chair with more ease. Additionally, according to a British study done on twins, published in 2015, there is also a link between brain health and leg strength," says the Mayo Clinic.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet
