1. Fitness is Important to Her
“Being fit makes me feel healthier and it also helps in maintaining a relaxed state of mind. Diet coupled with gymming makes for a powerful recipe for good health. So for me, it’s always gym with a healthy diet,” she told the Indian Express. “Sports nutrition focuses on good eating habits all the time, but also may focus on carbohydrates. For example, athletes training for endurance events may eat more carbohydrates in their diets in the days before the event to boost their energy and performance. Protein for muscle repair and growth is another important aspect of sports nutrition,” says the Mayo Clinic.
2. She Exercises Regularly
Shefali was on Big Boss 13. “Regular exercise helped me cope with the pressure in the BB house. I tried working out at least three days a week. We used to perform tasks thrice a week those were also physically strenuous but I had to keep working on my strength and endurance on non-task days. I also did pool workouts,” she told Indian Express.
3. This is Her Combo for Good Health
“Being fit makes me feel healthier and it also helps in maintaining a relaxed state of mind. Diet coupled with gymming makes for a powerful recipe for good health. So for me, it’s always gym with a healthy diet,” she told Indian Express.
4. She Uses Baby Oil
“Not a makeup product, but, I swear by a makeup remover actually, Johnson & Johnson baby oil. It removes my makeup like magic and it is very important for good healthy skin to be absolutely makeup-free, especially before bed. But, when it comes to a makeup product, I love kajal. Whenever my face starts looking dull I simply apply kajal,” she told HZ.
5. She Had Seizures in the Past
“I had an epilepsy seizure at the age of 15. I remember at that time I was under tremendous pressure to do well in my studies. Stress and anxiety can lead to seizures. It's interrelated, you could get a seizure due to depression and vice versa. I have got seizures in classrooms, backstage, while on roads, and somewhere that lowered my self-esteem,” she once said. “After I did ‘Kaanta Laga’, people asked me why I didn't do more work. I can now say that it was because of the epilepsy seizures that I couldn’t take up much work. I didn't know when I would get my next seizure. This went on for 15 years. Today, I am nine years seizure-free. I am proud of myself because I managed my depression, panic attacks and anxiety naturally and with the help of a strong support system,” she said.
