She Eats Raw Food
Reddy has her own YouTube series about wellness, called "Sustainable Living." In one video, she revealed that she eats a lot of raw food in her diet. "I truly believe in bringing raw food into your diet because the nutritional value is very high," she explains. "Everything is intact when consumed the right way." In the video, Reddy focuses on making food from the farm to the table.
She Practices Yoga and Meditation
In this interview with the Times Of India, Reddy talked about what she did during the pandemic. She says that she does a lot of yoga and meditation, and increased it when lockdown happened. "Normally, I meditate for an hour everyday but during those 14 days, I did it for two hours. It helps calm the mind and is extremely helpful, especially during a crisis like this."
She Invests In Her Health
Reddy unfortunately had to deal with COVID-19, however, she learned a lot from it. Reddy tells the Times Of India that dealing with the illness made her take her health more seriously. "My battle with Covid-19 made me realize that if you invest in your health, it will come to your rescue in your time of need and help you sail through any major crisis. So stop living in fear and prepare your body and mind to deal with any potential virus. If you're prepared, chances are you will beat it."
She Stays Active
Reddy lives an active life. She tells New Indian Express that she makes sure to get moving each day, which helps her stay healthy. "The more you use your body, the more it will work for you. It is a simple yet fundamental mechanism of the body. There is no other way to a healthy life than to have an active lifestyle — that's just how the body is designed. Not everybody needs to go to the gym, there are multiple ways of keeping yourself healthy and fit in the comfort of your own home. It is just that most people lack motivation. For example, you can use a flight of stairs in different ways to strengthen yourself and stay active."
She Eats Healthy
Reddy tells New Indian Express that she eats healthy, and makes sure to avoid certain foods. "I don't follow any diet in particular, but I balance my plate with 30 per cent proteins, 30 per cent good fats, no complex carbs consumed after light cooking and not too much salt. I don't have overcooked food, my food is mostly grilled and has no sugar, no deep-fried stuff, no junk and no carbonated drinks. I eat a little bit of everything when I have to, but in an absolute portion-controlled way."
