Sithelo is a big proponent of destigmatizing plastic surgery. “I wish we’d retract the surgery stigma we seem to pass on. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself a makeover, it’s each to their own when it comes to such after three children. This was the best decision and best reward I could’ve given myself,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post showing before and after photos of her mommy makeover.
2. She Meal Plans
In the same posts, Sithelo revealed that one way she maintains her health is by “diet planning.” The majority of nutritionists recommend some form of meal planning, as it sets you up for success when it comes to healthy eating.
3. Coffee
Sithelo loves coffee and can often be found holding a cup. Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. Researchers found “significant reductions” in the risk for coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure and stroke for all three types of coffee. But, only ground and instant coffee with caffeine decreased risk for arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat.
4. She Drinks Red Wine
Sithelo’s drink of choice? Red wine. “kinda like this blurred shot 📸 || anyway I just rescued some wine, it was trapped in a bottle,” she joked in this caption. “Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy,” says the Mayo Clinic. “The alcohol and certain substances in red wine called antioxidants may help prevent coronary artery disease, the condition that leads to heart attacks.”
5. She Hydrates
"Even mild dehydration—as little as 2% fluid loss—can affect memory, mood, concentration, and reaction time. Adding just a few glasses of water to your daily intake can have a positive effect on cognition, stabilize your emotions, and even combat feelings of anxiety. This is especially important for older adults who are at higher risk for both dehydration and impaired cognitive function," says the National Council on Aging.
