1. She Does Hardcore Workouts
“PAIN.” That was the caption of one of Richie’s workouts. She’s often seen at the Dogpound, the personal training gym that’s also home to Vanessa Hudgens and Hailey Bieber, among other celebs. Trainer Kevin Mejia has shared footage of her working hard; in one video, she’s got a leg band and doing extensions, holding her core tight. “LOVE THE PROCESS JUST AS MUCH YOU LOVE THE PRIZE,” Mejia has captioned some of his own workouts. “WILL NOT LOSE… PUT SOMETHIN ON IT.”
2. She Loves to Swim
Richie frequently posts photos in a bathing suit, often from “paradise.” Swimming can help everything from your mood to your core to tamping down dementia. In one study, “Preliminary evidence suggests that a dementia-specific, aquatic exercise intervention reduces BPSD and improves psychological well-being in people with moderate to severe dementia. With further testing, this innovative intervention may prove effective in addressing some of the most challenging aspects of dementia care.”

"I always live by having fun and never taking things too seriously," she told Grazia. "I know that everyone has this perfect image that they have to uphold, but I think that you'll live a happier life if you just smile more and have fun." “Indeed, some studies show that personality traits such as optimism and pessimism can affect many areas of your health and well-being. The positive thinking that usually comes with optimism is a key part of effective stress management. And effective stress management is associated with many health benefits. If you tend to be pessimistic, don't despair — you can learn positive thinking skills,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Richie told Teen Vogue she suffered from panic attacks. “I would convince myself that I was panicking or that I wasn’t comfortable, and once I realized that I was doing that to myself and nothing was actually wrong with me, I was totally fine,” she said.
5. She Meditates

If ever panicky, Richie meditates. “I know how to be like, 'Calm down, you’re here. There’s nothing to panic about,'” she told Teen Vogue. “Meditation is a simple, quick way to reduce stress that you can do wherever you are. Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation can produce a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind. During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress. This process may result in enhanced physical and emotional well-being,” says the Mayo Clinic.
