"I always live by having fun and never taking things too seriously," she told Grazia. "I know that everyone has this perfect image that they have to uphold, but I think that you'll live a happier life if you just smile more and have fun." "Indeed, some studies show that personality traits such as optimism and pessimism can affect many areas of your health and well-being. If ever panicky, Richie meditates. "I know how to be like, 'Calm down, you're here. There's nothing to panic about,'" she told Teen Vogue. "Meditation is a simple, quick way to reduce stress that you can do wherever you are. Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation can produce a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind. During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress. This process may result in enhanced physical and emotional well-being," says the Mayo Clinic.
