I pushed through exercise and diet, but the more I became obsessed with it, the less results I saw."

In the same interview, Torres revealed that she changed her diet. She says that she sought help from an expert to get her on the right path. "The diet that he puts depends on each person,” she says. “In my case, it was removing a lot of foods with hormones, to begin with, animal protein, he changed me for a little while to a vegan diet, which I am no longer on that one, because I am already resuming my life little by little.”

Torres swears by rose water for helping maintain her skin health and beauty. She even puts rose petals in her bath for a touch of luxury. Rose water is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, and can help soothe eczema and rosacea symptoms.

3. Limes With Everything

Torres loves adding fresh-squeezed limes to her food and drinks. “Limes are low in calories, high in micronutrients and punch above their weight with regard to both water and fiber content,” says Carly Sedlacek RDN, LD. “They’re really good for us, but most of us aren’t going to make a snack of them.
