She Regularly Exercises

Fitness is a big part of Sofía's life. She explained to Women's Health that she exercises three or four times a week with a trainer. It also doesn't hurt having a super buff husband, Joe Manganiello, around to keep her priorities in check. "Joe built a very nice gym in the house, so I don't have any excuses," she said.

Sofía is one of the many stars who rely on pilates-style workouts. Her trainer often incorporates the Megaformer, "which is like an advanced Pilates machine" that combines cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility, she told Women's Health.

Some stars, including her husband, enjoy exercising. Not Sofía, who admits it's like torture" for her. "I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class," she told Women's Health.

She Lifts Weights

Sofía didn't always lift weights, but once she started it was a game changer. "The one thing that I have done that really has made a difference in my body is lifting weights. Not crazy weights. But, you know, like five pounds, seven pounds, 10 pounds. Twelve pounds is the maximum I can do. It keeps your muscles tight, and your skin tighter to you," she told Health. "I've done Pilates and spinning, and I've tried all sorts of things—and they're great."

5

She Cheats

Sofía is a big fan of cheating, but she works (out) for it. "I heard about someone in L.A. who got hypnotized so they wouldn't eat candy," she told Shape. "I'm seriously looking into that because I'm obsessed. When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!"

Sofía's secret to glowing skin and a fit body? "I eat a lot of vegetables, and I eat blueberries, and I drink green tea. And I add, like, a spoon of powdered collagen to chamomile tea at night—I don't know what that does [laughs] but I do it! And I try to drink lots of water," she told Health.
