1. She Starts Her Day with Cardio
Sonakshi rises and exercises. “I start most of my mornings with cardio on an empty stomach. My cardio routine is the Stairmaster for 30 minutes and brisk walking for about 20-25 minutes after,” she revealed to Vogue India.
2. She Does Pilates
Sonakshi is also a fan of a body-elongating workout. “I started doing Pilates about six months back and it's really suited me. There are thousands of exercises that you can do on those machines so it's never boring; you can do something new every day,” she told Vogue. “I love working out on the Pilates reformer. There are so many variations of exercises you can do on that.”
3. She Does Functional Training
Even when she is traveling, you will find Sonakshi exercising and eating healthily. “I try and eat right and get in some weight or functional training whenever I can. I'm not very fond of the gym and weights in general, but when I'm traveling that's the only option I have and I try to make the most of it,” she told Vogue.
4. She Doesn’t Eat Bread – Other Than Pizza

Sonakshi tries to stay about from processed carbohydrates. “I've stopped eating bread completely unless it's in the form of a pizza, which is my go-to cheat meal. I usually finish my carb intake by lunch, and for dinner it's mainly protein. Fried foods, sugar are avoidable. Luckily, I don't have much of a sweet tooth.” Her cheat meal? “Pizza or chole kulche.”
5. She Doesn’t Look for Fitspiration on Social Media

“I feel like following people on social media for fitness can be disheartening sometimes, because you always end up comparing yourself to these athletes and builders,” Sonakshi said about the social media sites. “Everyone has their own fitness journey and ways, I think it's best to stick to your own.”
