She Enlisted the Help of a Nutritionist

Rather than try and go at it alone, Sonalee hired a professional to design her diet. "I have been following a healthy dietary plan recommended by my nutritionist and have been feeling energetic and radiant after having followed that for a couple of months now," she told DNA India. "Your parents were right: Eat your fruits and veggies! These provide a variety of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber — all things known to help prevent disease. If you have high blood pressure, a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and grains is especially recommended," says the Cleveland Clinic. "Aim for a combined seven to nine servings of fruits and vegetables each day: roughly 4 or greater for vegetables and two to four for fruit. If you don't reach recommended serving sizes in a given day, don't worry. It's more about what your overall diet looks like in a week, so just load up on veggies or fruits in the following days."

Sonalee exercises. "I work out regularly and my exercise routine consists of 50 minutes of cardios and 20 minutes of floor exercises/ abs," she told DNA. One of her favorite workouts? Crossfit. The star shares a lot of videos of herself deadlifting incredibly heavy weights. "Weight training," she captioned this video. "Attempted a few things for the first time." She Challenges Herself

Sonalee sets challenges for herself. "May has begun, and it's my birthday month so, I have planned to gift my self a 37 day fitness challenge, so let's see how it goes," she wrote in a 2020 Instagram post. On the challenge she followed a strict Keto diet and also worked out a lot with her trainer. "So, what does high-fat, low-carb look like on your plate? Think bacon and eggs for breakfast, salami and blue cheese salad for lunch, and fried chicken in creamy zoodles for dinner. What you won't typically find is fruit, cereal, bread, pasta, beans, or even potatoes. Many of these foods may be difficult to weed out of your normal diet making you more likely to have trouble sticking with them over long periods of time. Consequentially, the results that you may have gained while practicing the keto diet can be quickly lost," says the Mayo Clinic.

She Switches Up Her Workouts

In addition to Crossfit she does "combination of workouts" such as power yoga, kickboxing, running, spinning, pilates, and aerial silk. "I think your body needs to a combination of workouts. Doing the same thing every day can make your body get used to it. And, when you do a combination all muscles get worked up," she told Hindustan Times. "With PowerYoga, it is a good form of cardio plus yoga. You are working with your own body weight, it's very good for body tone up. And I don't need to mention the benefits of doing yoga. But make sure you do all this under proper guidance. How you do it is more important than what you do."
