1. She Boxes

Thomalla opened up about her fitness to Stern. In it, she revealed her favorite workout. "Boxing and kickboxing are my favorites,” she says. “It works anytime, anywhere." Boxing has a lot of benefits for your body. Harvard Health reports, “Fitness boxing is also a great aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood.”

2. She Finds What Works For Her

There are a lot of different fitness tips out there, and it can be confusing to find what works for you. However, Thomalla says that she doesn’t get overwhelmed, and just aims to find what works for her. She tells Stern, “Every day I read some workout tips that are completely the opposite of what I read the day before. You really don't know what to believe anymore. Everyone else probably has something else that works well. Finding the right one I think is the secret... For me it's interval running."

3. She Doesn’t Diet

Thomalla doesn’t believe in diets. Especially ones that involve cutting out carbs. “Don't do it,” she says to bild.de. “I can't live without carbohydrates. I get in a really bad mood.” Carbs are an important part of someone’s diet. Reid Health reports, “Carbohydrates are your body's main source of energy: They help fuel your brain, kidneys, heart muscles, and central nervous system.”

4. She Does Cardio & Strength Training

Thomalla makes sure to do different workouts. She likes to combine strength training and cardio exercises. In an interview, she described her usual workout as, “45 minutes of strength training. An hour of running.” Thomalla says that this plan has been extremely effective for her. “I’ve lost two dress sizes.”

5. She Goes To The Beach

Thomalla loves to spend time by the water. Her Instagram is full of photos of herself at the beach and the pool. She shared this video of herself running out of the water onto the shore. She captioned the video, “Hey 007, hire me for your next movie. The ocean is obviously my second home.”
