She Loves Water Sports
Sydney loves outdoor activities. "I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini. If I wasn't swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf. So there was always a part of me that wanted to create something that truly felt like me, and with Francesca [Aiello] and her incredible company, we really created something special," she told Elle about the inspiration behind the swimwear line.
She Plays Soccer, Baseball, and Wakeboards Also
Sydney, who grew up in Idaho, reveals she was active in sports as a child. "It's a different way of life out there," she says. "It's very simple. Family is everything. I was in every single sport possible. I was on the soccer team, the baseball team, the snow slalom ski team, I was wakeboarding," she told The Independent.
Her Drink of Choice Is Water
Sweeney stays hydrated, only drinking water. In fact, she revealed to Hollywood Reporter that she's never even tried coffee. "If I'm celebrating, or it's a very rare occasion, I'll have a Shirley Temple," she said.
She Does Martial Arts
Sydney is an experienced MMA fighter. "I'm trained in mixed martial arts," she told Marie Claire. "I started when I was 14 and did my first competition at 18. It was a grappling competition against all guys a weight category above me, and I got first place. Those guys were probably saying, 'Oh, we didn't want to hurt her,' but they were definitely trying. Everyone broke a sweat!"
Candles Are Part of Her Self-Care Routine
Sydney has her own method of self care, using candles to relax. "I'm a big advocate for making it feel like a home no matter where I am," she told Allure. "I'm always burning candles and I love the smell of vanilla. It makes me feel homey and calm and safe."
