She Lost a Ton of Weight From "Daily Discipline"
In an Instagram video, Tallia revealed that she lost a lot of weight. "My daily workout that changed my life, helped me [lose] 12kg & become my happiest ever," she said. "The daily discipline that changed my life 😄😍 So many dms about my transformation Tuesday recently👩🏼🍳 so thought I'd share, this is just what worked for me. Learned from YouTube & train myself – so proud, I'm my fittest & happiest ever🤍🏻 let's gooo 2023, keep the show on the road," she added in the caption.
She starts the video running on a treadmill with her arms pumping at her sides, revealing that she runs or walks 5-10k a day. "I am such an ugly runner sorry not a track star at all," she joked in the comment section. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
She Does Strength and Weight Training
She also does strength and weight training in the video, including weighted squats and box jumps, "small weighted squats," weighted lunges, weighted arm lifts, and up-downs, which she describes as "not fun." At the end of the video she makes sure to stretch.
She Takes Baths
Tallia also loves taking baths. "10% Diva, 90% entertainment," she captioned a photo of herself soaking in the tub with a glass of wine. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Tallia prioritizes hydration, keeping a water bottle with her to stay hydrated throughout the day, as can be seen in this TikTok post. "Obviously, everyone wants to avoid being dehydrated, but that doesn't mean you have to fill up on 128-ounces of water every single day to avoid it. A good rule of thumb is to take a peek at the color of your pee. If you're hydrated, it should be a light lemonade color, but it doesn't necessarily need to be clear. If your pee is darker, that might be an indicator to up your water intake, but keep in mind that some medications (and even food) can affect the color too," says the Cleveland Clinic.
