She Enjoys Working Out
One of Bhatia's biggest fitness secrets is that she actually enjoys working out. That is how she can exercise on a regular basis. Bhatia tells DesiMartini.com, "You need to always find time to do what makes you happy. Fitness is one of those things. It creates a feel-good aura around you. I like to start my day with a lot of positivity, clean energies and good vibes. Fitness has helped me achieve this."
She Always Makes Time For Working Out
Bhatia makes working out a priority. She says that she will always set aside time in her schedule to go to the gym or do a session. "I like to work out everyday as far as possible because it's a good stress buster," she says to DesiMartini.com. Bhatia also revealed her mantra when it comes to fitness, saying, "Fitness is like brushing your teeth."
She Doesn't Deprive Herself
When it comes to her diet, Bhatia mostly eats healthy. However, she tells Times of India, that she doesn't like to limit or deprive herself. "I don't resist eating, because it's a natural stimulation." she says. However, she does have a solution for when she over indulges. "In case I consume extra calories, I work out more rigorously at the gym."
She Stays Hydrated
Bhatia tells Times of India that she makes sure to stay hydrated every day. However, she says that she isn't just drinking water to do this. "I'm also big on being hydrated at all times, so loads of juices, soups and of course, three liters of water." "Hydration is essential for so many functions in your body," says Amanda Beaver, wellness dietitian at Houston Methodist. "Water helps support brain function, your heart pump blood to your muscles, regulate your body temperature, prevent constipation, and the list goes on."
She Eats Healthy
Bhatia broke down her daily diet to the Times of India. She says that she tends to eat pretty healthy each day. "Breakfast is a muesli bowl, which has granola, dates, almond milk, nuts, berries, and bananas. I eat poached eggs or omelets with a lot of veggies too. For lunch, I eat daal, brown rice, and vegetables. I snack on nuts before my workout, and for dinner, it is eggs, idli or dosa. I need to have yogurt in every meal, as it helps me stay focused during long shoots, especially in summers."
