Tamara Falcó is living it up in the Maldives – in her swimsuit! The Spanish television host shared some of her vacation photos via social media this week, revealing her routine and showing off her incredible figure in a bathing suit. “Sleep. Beach. Eat. Repeat,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Was Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism

Tamara was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which made her gain 20 pounds. "It is a complex question that many of you ask me and the truth is that being overweight can be due to many different situations. I am not a doctor, I dare not advise you, what I do tell you is that I did not stop until I achieved it, even if I had ups and downs and always in the hands of professionals," she explained to Cope about how she ended up losing the weight.

2. She Does Yoga

Aside from changing her diet, yoga helped Tamara drop the weight. “This summer I realized the importance of proper breathing,” she captioned a post. Aside from weight loss, the American Osteopathic Association endorses the endless benefits of yoga. “The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome,” Natalie Nevins, DO, a board-certified osteopathic family physician and certified Kundalini Yoga instructor in Hollywood, California, explained to them. “Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.”

3. She Follows a Specific Diet

Tamara is on a special diet to promote thyroid function, consuming foods rich in minerals, such as shellfish, fish, or legumes. She tries to focus her diet around plant-based foods, consuming fruits, veggies, seeds, and legumes to help minimize the risk of hypothyroidism. She also enjoys sipping on vegetable broth.

4. She Goes for Walks

Tamara, who has dogs, enjoys walking, a great workout per the Mayo Clinic. They maintain that brisk walking can help you maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat, prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. It can also help improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen your bones and muscles, improve muscle endurance, increase energy levels, improve your mood, cognition, memory and sleep, improve your balance and coordination, strengthen immune system, and reduce stress and tension.

5. She Drinks Kombucha

Tamra also likes drinking kombucha, a “natural, healthy, sustainable probiotic,” she explained in an Instagram post. "This tangy fermented tea drink is found in many grocery and specialty food stores. Some brands have added sugar, so make sure the label lists no more than 5 grams per serving," says Harvard Health.
