Dance
One of Tasha's favorite cardio workouts? Dancing. She even has her heart set on landing a spot on Strictly Come Dancing. "It will happen, you have to believe in it!" she told OK! Magazine in a recent interview. "I think Strictly would be really interesting because its [dancing] styles I've never done before so it would be a challenge. So who knows!"
Go for a Swim
As Tasha declared herself a "beach baby," it is no surprise she loves to swim. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
Exercise
Tasha used to work out with personal trainer Joshua Kempton, another former Love Island contestant. In an interview, he told Women's Health that Tasha trained four to five times a week doing a lower body workout – focused on hamstrings and an upper body and core workout – and also a cardio day, a workout focusing on glutes, and another looking at the whole body.
Focus on Building Strength
"Tasha's goals were to get stronger and be the best version of herself both physically and mentally," Josh told Women's Health. "She's got strong mobility and a disciplined mindset to progress with training," he said.
Eat Healthy
Tasha has a moderate approach to diet, according to Josh. She tries to incorporate all food groups, allowing herself occasional cheat meals. She also consumes a lot of protein to help with her intense workout sessions and eats carbohydrates to fuel her energy. "Without them, she'd never have sustained and recovered the workout routine we set together," he told Women's Health.
