Teddi Mellencamp's BFF just had a birthday. "Not only is she a best friend, she's the best time, always there to make me laugh," she captioned one photo of herself and fellow mom and entrepreneur Marisela Arechiga, posing in beachwear. "And hold me accountable," she captioned another, taken during a workout. "Not to mention, we're the coolest moms on the field always," she said, with photos of their kids holding sports trophies. "Happy happy birthday to Marisela Arechiga. Love You! Hope it's the best year yet." How does the podcast host (Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge) and one time cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stay so fit at 43? Here's how.

1. She Makes Schedules

2024,Event,Planner,Timetable,Agenda,Plan,On,Schedule,Event.,BusinessShutterstock

Mellencamp shared how she manages her anxiety in an interview with Women’s Health. “I learned to head off my anxiety by setting aside an hour every Sunday night to make a detailed schedule; when I know what to expect, I stop worrying about it. I learned to wake up before my kids for some precious alone time, to write down three things I am grateful for every day, to make a short to-do list and prioritize the hardest stuff first. Learning how to stop procrastinating and deal with difficult things head on did wonders for banishing the looming cloud of anxiety that had been hanging over me for years. I no longer needed to eat junk food at night to deal with my feelings.”

2. She Found A Diet That Works

Mellencamp tells Women’s Health that she tried a lot of eating plans to see what worked for her. “There’s so much information out there about what to eat and what not to eat that I decided I was going to have to experiment on myself. I read the research and tried different healthy foods until I figured out a way to eat that made my body feel its best. I lost over 50 pounds in the next six months! I finally got back to a body I felt comfortable in and this time I was healthy.”

3. She’s All About Balance

Mellencamp tells Prevention that she eats a balanced diet. “I want to make sustainable choices,” she explained. “I think what I didn’t understand before was that I thought in order to enjoy myself, I had to have a cheat day and have alcohol, pasta, and dessert. Now I’ve learned balance. Instead of having pasta, wine, and dessert, I’ll choose one. But I never feel punished or use food as a reward.”

4. She Prioritizes Health

Mellencamp tells NBC News that she makes being healthy a priority. “It doesn't matter if you have a personal trainer. It doesn't matter if you're going to a workout class. If you're eating badly, it doesn't matter. [I realized]:I workout so I can feel better. And then I eat well so I can feel better. And then once I feel better, and I start looking better, everything shifts in your life. All of a sudden you start being a better mother. You start asking for that raise at work. You start shifting things around in your life. You start feeling really true to who you are; you're not having to always make excuses for yourself because you're being exactly who you want to be.”

5. She’s Confident

TeddiTeddi Mellencamp/Instagram

Mellencamp tells NBC News that she tries to stay confident. “How you look [affects] how you feel about yourself. For me it's all about health and wellness, but what I learned is it's all tied in together. If you're not feeling your best, if you're not feeling confident, you are not going to ask your boss for a raise. You are not going to tell your husband when he hurts your feelings. You are not going to be that strong and confident woman you want your kids seeing. Because if you're feeling weak and bad about yourself, it goes everywhere.”

1. She Runs

Tedi loves to run. “Running is a different kind of beast. It will transform your body and your mind,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I was never a runner because I was afraid to fail. I started one minute at a time and every day got faster and within no time I was running 60 minutes without stopping. No one can run for you but you and you can do it if you commit to taking action on pushing yourself just a little harder each day. I have been running outside for the last 3+ years.”

2. She Has Workout Buddies

Teddi has lots of workout buddies including her family and Real Housewives pals. “The girls… we all have different goals, different dreams, but the one thing we have in common is that we want to see each other succeed. That’s friendship but it’s also accountability. Because there’s always going to be a time where you want to give up, want to make excuses, want to quit. But accountability won’t let you. Accountability also means posting this pic despite so many things,” she captioned this sweep snap.

3. She Hikes

GettyImages 1244813131

Teddi also loves going outside and taking hikes. “5 days and 50 hiked miles-- unplugging at @theashram was truly an amazing experience. I walked in alone and walked out with new friends, having learned so much from such strong people. I pushed myself to do this because I feel staying in our comfort zones doesn’t allow us to grow; I am so happy I did. Excited to see my family, feeling refreshed and optimistic on what’s to come next,” she captioned a post.

4. She Doesn’t Make Excuses

Teddi has a no excuses approach to fitness. “We all go down the rabbit hole of why we can’t do things: I don’t have the time. I don’t have the money for a gym membership. The weather is not nice enough to be outside. I don’t like home workout videos. I don’t have a babysitter to watch my kids. When we stop coming up with reasons why we can’t do something and just take action, great things happen. I can assure you that by just grabbing a jump rope and blaring a favorite song you will get some amazing cardio in. You are worth it. Give me a 👋 if you are making some time for you today,” she captioned a motivational Instagram post.

5. She Meditates

Teddi also makes sure to take care of her mental health. “So happy to be home and back to the comfort of my routine— hugging the fam, working out, trying to get in some meditation…🧘‍♀️🙃 Who can relate to the struggle?” she captioned a post of one of her sessions.

Heidi Montag is one of the most iconic reality TV personalities of all time. She first came into the spotlight on the MTV series, The Hills. Montag met her husband, fellow reality TV star, Spencer Pratt on the series. Montag and Pratt later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, Marriage Boot Camp, and The Hills: New Beginnings. In a TikTok, she took her followers through a day in her life. Montag is seen sitting by the pool in a black swimsuit. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Heidi Montag stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She’s All About Self-Love

Los,Angeles,-,Jun,15:,Heidi,Montag,At,The,2019Shutterstock

Montag notably got a lot of plastic surgery done in the early 2010’s. She says that she did this due to body insecurities, and notably got a bunch of her procedures reversed. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she encouraged others to love themselves and get help. “If you’re having those kinds of thoughts and issues, it’s important to seek advice from those you love and professionals who want to help,” she said. “Figure out why you feel that way and what’s behind it.”

2. She’s Healed

Los,Angeles,,Ca.,March,23,,2019:,Heidi,Montag,Pratt,AtShutterstock

In an interview with Paper Magazine, Montag talked about what she took from her experience with plastic surgery. "A lot of positive things came out of that. I had to look at myself in the mirror every day healing, and be like, 'What did I do to myself? How did I get here? What is going on?' I basically had to hit that rock-bottom moment in my life, to realize what was important to me."

3. She Has A Work-Life Balance

Memo,Pad,On,The,Table_front_with,Work,And,Life,TextShutterstock

After having her first child in 2018, and returning to The Hills in 2019, Montag tried to find a balance between both. “That's my number one priority now, and I don't want to compromise time with my son,” she told Paper Magazine. “So I definitely try to balance. It's different this time around, though. There's a different production company involved, and I think MTV is in an exciting new place. So it's gonna be a similar Hills that everyone loved, but a different show; we're all wiser now.”

4. She Wants To Spread Positivity

In an interview with Paper Magazine, Montag revealed that she is working on new music. She says that she wants her new music to have a positive message. “It's just one song, but I want to do something good and send out a positive message to the world. I'm in such a different place right now, so you'll see. I'm open to all music. I don't want to corner myself into one thing, because I really love all types of music.”

5. She Warned Others About Plastic Surgery

@heidimontag

#dayinmylife @Hydroxycut

Montag tells Cosmopolitan that she wants people who are considering getting plastic surgery done to do their research and think about it. “Everyone always shows you the before and after pics. They don’t show you how devastating the recovery is. I don’t regret a lot of my enhancement, but plastic surgery isn’t something that should be glorified. Take it seriously.”

]Teddi Mellencamp is best known for appearing on three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In 2022, she appeared on the third season of Celebrity Big Brother. Mellencamp is a podcaster, and she hosts podcasts with fellow housewives Tamra Judge and Emily Simpson. Lastly, Mellencamp is a wellness expert. In a recent Instagram post, she talked about her approach to wellness in 2024. She captioned the post, “Every year I like to choose my word for the year. From the start of 2024, people have asked what my word is and I have consistently joked that my word would be ‘cope.’ That was my mindset after all of the highs and lows from my almost two years of dealing with melanoma. Every time I started to feel like ‘me’ again, BAM, another reared its ugly head, another surgery on the books, another round of fear of not being enough for anyone— all overshadowed how I wanted to truly feel about myself. I had convinced myself that this state of constant crushing anxiety was the new me and I just had to learn to ‘cope.’ But the truth is, EFF THAT. I have decided my word for 2024 is going to be STRENGTH. It’s been 6 weeks since my last surgery and I am cleared to do whatever it is I want. And I want to be strong.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Teddi Mellencamp stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Doesn’t Count Calories

Santa,Monica,,Ca,Usa,-,June,5,,2022.,Teddi,MellencampShutterstock

After having her third child in 2020, Mellencamp opened up about losing the baby weight to Hollywood Life. She says that she doesn’t look at the calories when she’s choosing what to eat. “I don’t count calories. I’ve never done that. It’s all about eating foods that nourish my body. I try to eat as clean as possible, and [I’m] really focusing on that. It can lead to more obsessive tendencies when you’re counting calories. For me, it’s what is really going to make me feel my best and what are the foods that are going to aid in that.”

2. She Believes In Balance

When it comes to her diet, Mellencamp is all about balance. She tells Prevention.com that she feels like this is easier for people to maintain.

3. She Sets Goals

Fitness,Goals,List,-,Slate,Blackboard,Sign,Against,Weathered,RedShutterstock

Mellencamp is a big believer in setting goals when it comes to fitness. She explained why in her Prevention.com interview. "When you set a goal for yourself, and hold yourself to something and commit to it, you will see changes," she says. "I got into a mindset where I was motivated, and I wanted to feel motivated every day. If you can commit, that’s when transformation happens."

4. She’s Consistent

Mellencamp shares some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that she makes sure to stay consistent when it comes to exercise. “I’m active every day. Some days I just go on a walk. Or some days I do a yoga class. But I take an hour a day. I call it, it’s like my therapy.”

5. She Makes Time For Herself

Mellencamp is a big believer in self-care. She explained why in an interview with NBC News. “I think so many of us, especially moms or women who are constantly on the go, we forget to take care of ourselves. And a big part of being the best mom, being the best wife, being the best boss, being the happiest you can be, is taking care of yourself, putting yourself as a priority. I write myself down in my agenda every single day because if I don't have that hour to me, I'm not my best.”

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength training may also help you:

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
