1. Pump Iron

Teresa got into yoga when her ex-husband, Joe, went to prison. While “looking for the next thing,” she discovered bodybuilding. “I also wanted to show my daughters that if you put hard work and time into something, you can achieve anything,” explained to Us about how she achieved her best body ever. “I love the way my arms and back look. All my clothes are big on me. My body drastically changed because of yoga, but this was even more extreme. It debunks the myth that if you’re over 40, you can’t look good.”

2. Hydrate

Teresa also drinks a ton of water. She revealed to Bravo that she makes sure she's "drinking a gallon of water every day.” According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

3. Eat Clean

Boohoo X Kourtney Kardashian - September 2022 New York Fashion WeekGotham/WireImage

“The most important thing is eating very clean," Teresa dished to Bravo about how she eats. "My diet has changed. I even hate the word 'diet' but I can’t eat carbs anymore. Like, I’m an Italian girl, I can’t eat my pasta — I gotta eat good carbs." She fuels up with veggies and protein. "So what I’m eating now is a protein and a vegetable. Grilled chicken, grilled turkey, grilled cod, grilled flounder. Some of the vegetables I eat are asparagus, green beans. In the morning I have oatmeal; otherwise sometimes I make six egg whites and I make an omelette out of it and I put some kind of vegetable in it."

4. Don’t Drink Your Calories

Teresa avoids drinking, especially when she is in bodybuilding mode. “I don’t consume that much alcohol anyway, but that’s when I feel sexiest because I feel good,” she told Life & Style.

5. Drink Celery Juice

In a recent Instagram post Teresa revealed she loves drinking celery juice. Our sister site Eat This, Not That! explains why the green juice is so beloved. “What research has shown is that celery juice seems to deliver on hydration in a big way. That's because celery is composed almost entirely of water, and it contains the electrolyte potassium, which helps balance fluid in the body. As a result, celery juice can aid hydration.”

Teresa Giudice was on vacation, and working at the same time, as the star of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on Peacock. She joined Melissa Gorga, Kenya Moore, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Kyle Richards and more in Turks and Caicos—and just shared a swimsuit photo of her in paradise. “Would love to know what you guys are thinking of the Ultimate Girls Trip?! Now showing on @bravotv right after #rhonj. Thoughts?!?” she asked. “Girl im loving it..you and Cynthia's bond is everything,” commented one fan. “Bellisima the QUEEN the .#1 housewives and ICON,” said another. (Season 2, filmed at Dorinda Medley's Blue Stone Manor in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, is already in the can.) How does Giudice stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Teresa Giudice stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Puts Time Into the Gym

In preparation for a swimsuit bodybuilding competition, Giudice did 45 minutes of weight training every day and 45 minutes of cardio twice a day. She walked Bravotv.com through her favorite exercises: a tricep pulldown, some stretching, a low row (for her back), some leg exercises, like a seated leg curl, to work her hamstring and glutes, and a leg press.

2. She Works Her Glutes

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - February 05, 2020Gilbert Carrasquillo/GC Images

Working your glutes can really help you lose weight, and here’s one you can do at home: This workout will engage in isometrics—or contracting and flexing your muscles for sustained periods of time—at your desk. (Remember: when it comes to your metabolism, every movement counts.) Perform this routine three times, resting for 10 seconds in between each exercise:

  • Holding a pen, clench your forearms and your fists as hard as you can for a full twenty seconds. Then release.
  • Squeeze your glutes (or cheeks!) together as hard as you can, ensuring that you rise out of your seat for at least an inch. Hold for 20 seconds and then release.
  • Squeeze your entire body below the neck for a full 20 seconds and then release.
  • Relax for 30 seconds.

3. She Eats Protein and Veggies

2019 BravoCon Opening NightArturo Holmes/WireImage

“My diet has changed. I even hate the word 'diet,' but I can’t eat carbs anymore. Like, I’m an Italian girl, I can’t eat my pasta—I gotta eat good carbs," she told Bravo. Instead, she eats: "Grilled chicken, grilled turkey, grilled cod, grilled flounder," she said. "Some of the vegetables I eat are asparagus, green beans. In the morning I have oatmeal; otherwise sometimes I make six egg whites, and I make an omelette out of it and I put some kind of vegetable in it."

4. She is Driven to Compete

Giudice is a competitive bodybuilder. Set goals for yourself. “Keeping your fitness level in mind, think about why you want to start a fitness program. Consider your health and fitness goals,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Perhaps your doctor has suggested that you start a fitness program to lose weight. If you're already active, maybe you want to increase the intensity of your fitness program to prepare for a 5K race or to get ready to participate in a favorite sport. Having clear goals can help you stay motivated.”

5. She Loves to Cook

Giudice has written multiple best-selling cookbooks, including Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook, which has its own series of titles. When enjoying your own Italian food, be sure your pasta sauce doesn’t contain hidden added sugars. Sugary foods retrain our taste buds and mess with our bodily systems. When even tomato sauce is laced with sweetener, we then need greater and greater doses of sugar in order for the flavor to register. That leads us to seek out candies and baked goods at the expense of real food.

1. She Takes a Mature Approach

Giudice opened up about her and her family’s approach to the new RHONJ season to Page Six. She says that she is taking a more mature approach to handling things this season. “Me, my sisters and my mom, we definitely evolved more this season,” she explains. “We all wanted to take a more mature route and just really evaluate what was going on instead of [reacting] because we also felt like this whole ‘Teresa and her brother’ saga is just so old.”

2. She’s Moving On

"Mafia Mamma" New York ScreeningDia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Giudice and her family have dealt with a lot of drama, especially in these recent years. However, she tells Page Six that she is working on moving on from the past. “I think in general, we realized — especially around the time of my mom’s wedding — we were just like, ‘I think it’s time to just let bygones be bygones, put it in the past and just focus on our family and focus on us.'”

3. She Doesn’t Care About The Edit

Celebrity Sightings In Indio - April 22, 2023BAUER-GRIFFIN via Getty Images

Being on a reality show, Giudice has to deal with how the season is edited. She tells In The Know that she doesn’t care about what fans think or how things are edited. “Every season has its villain and every season has the person that they're attacking or targeting and every season they also have their favorite,” she explains. “So it's like the villain, the person they're attacking, the person that looks the best on the show. So, I've seen that formation where it's been like my mom, the one that everyone is against, or the next season she's the one that looks great. Or like this season they're making her cuts not what they really were. So I just feel like that was like the hardest thing to struggle with. It's like ‘well that's actually not how it went down’ or ‘that's actually not how that even happened.’ So, I've learned to just embrace it and also just say exactly what I want to say when I'm being filmed because otherwise like you're not gonna get your point across and the viewers also are just gonna have a different perception on.”

4. She Works With A Dermatologist

Happy,Young,Patient,Having,Conversation,With,Dermatologist,The,HospitalShutterstock

Giudice works with dermatologist, Tara Adashev, APRN, to help with her skin. “Gia comes to me to treat her skin,” Nurse Adashev tells HollywoodLife. “The Lutronic ULTRA Laser is great because there is no downtime. She returned to her college classes and normal life immediately, and she sees really great results as soon as one treatment.”

5. She Wants To Help Others

Giudice is about to graduate from college. Her next step? Law school. Guidice wants to become a lawyer to help people. In 2021, she said on Watch What Happens Live that her parents’ struggles inspired her to help other people not experience this. “Their whole experience influenced me, honestly, for the better,” Giuidice explained. “I just want to help families and be able to be there for families and help children, honestly, especially.”

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet

“I love green juices and smoothies.
