While it depends on your age, the CDC recommends anywhere from seven to nine hours per night. "Although the amount of sleep you get each day is important, other aspects of your sleep also contribute to your health and well-being. Good sleep quality is also essential," they add. She Hydrates

When asked by Russh about her health secret, Thylane maintained it has to do with hydrating properly. "Drink a lot of water," she said. Why is hydration key, especially if you are active? Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. "For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water," explains the Mayo Clinic. How much water do you need? While the number varies according to age, activity level, food intake, and other factors, the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men and 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.
