Torri explained to Muscle & Health that after getting into modeling at a young age, it sparked an eating disorder. “I was told to lose five or ten pounds and became anorexic and lost much weight. The anorexia started to morph into bulimia, but I found it hard to throw myself up,” she said. “Because of the bulimia, I started gaining weight, and that’s what forced me into fitness and trying to build muscle. I realized I might not want to look like a super thin model. The curvy athletic body is just beautiful.”

2. Here Is What She Eats in a Day

Torrie broke her daily diet down to Muscle & Health.

7:00 am: Fresh pressed celery juice, 20oz

7:30 am: Coffee with Pruvit keto kreme and 1 scoop vital proteins collagen creamer + 1 tsp raw manuka honey

9:30 am: Avocado toast, 1 slide Dave’s bread “white done right” with 2 eggs (or scrambled vegan eggs, depending on mood) + arugula with balsamic vinegar

12:15pm: Post-workout 1 apple +. 2 tbsps Justin’s almond butter

3. She Works Out Daily

Torrie, who offers a six-week program to help women reach their fitness goals, works out daily. “It’s pretty immersive, I do a video every day, so participants feel like it’s more intimate,” she said. “I wouldn’t say it takes a lot of work to build muscle.” She also has a no pain, no gain mentality. “I know if I’m going to do something like weighted glute raises or deadlifts, it will hurt for a few days, but it also hurts when I don’t do anything, so I choose which hurt I want.”

4. She Follows the 80/20 Rule

Torri is all about the 80/20 method of eating. “I go for the 80% rule of healthy. I’m now more focused on eating whole, natural foods that have a lot of nutrients to help me feel good from the inside out. I’m anti-strict eating because of competing and being anorexic,” she said.

“If I had to choose between exercise and diet, the exercise would be my number one. You can have a little more leeway with your diet by having muscle. When it comes to being lean, that’s always been my motto,” she said.

What is her secret to looking forever young? According to Torrie, “exercise, getting enough sleep and probably not having kids,” she said. “I’m not afraid of Botox and skin peels. Wilson revealed her diet and fitness secrets to Women Fitness. She says that she likes to use a stairclimber when she works out. “I’m somewhat obsessed with stairs. Doing them is like meditation for me and more for my head than for my body. I like to do 30-40 minutes almost everyday and add in my own made-up circuit with weights for 25-30 minutes on most days.”

But I do not count every morsel that goes into my mouth, and feel that once you get to a place you are happy at and workout as hard as I do, counting calories becomes unnecessary. She encourages others to do the same. “People always say diet is the number 1 factor, and while I think it’s obviously important, my number 1 tip is to LIFT WEIGHTS. We naturally lose muscle as we age, and it’s important to work hard at keeping it. As we age, just being thin can make us look older. Full muscles keep you looking younger and burn more calories all day long.”

Tia has explained that her approach to diet and fitness has evolved over the year. “Being 23 and doing Wayne’s World in those short tight dresses and bikinis, I had to pay more attention to food and exercise. I was never unhealthy about it or obsessed, but just aware of what I wanted to look like on film. A 23-year-old metabolism certainly helped though!” she confessed to InBetween. People will see you, they are drawn to you. But then as time goes on, as you transition from your 20s to 30s and then 40s and 50s, there are treacherous waters that you need to navigate,” she said in an interview. "If you only value yourself for your physical beauty and youth, you’re going to be lost. Because as time marches on, you can never be the girl that you were now that you’re a woman years later. You have to create a life, and you have to find joy and fulfillment outside of that identity. That’s why you do see these plastic surgery victims – they’re eternally chasing 28. You have to leave that. You have to mature and grow and find fulfillment elsewhere."
