It would be silly to pretend otherwise. But you don't have to let the negatives color your whole outlook on life. I love sweating; it's one of the ways that I process everything that goes on during the week and move it through my body. It's always really loud music and great music, which I love, and the workout changes every 10 sessions, so even if you take classes, it changes every 10 days, it changes . . . I love that! I never get bored."

4. She Enjoys Working Out

Ross tells POPSugar that one of her secrets to exercising is the fact that she enjoys doing it. "I'm a big advocate for keeping my body moving," she said. "It is definitely vain, and it is about aesthetics, but truthfully I feel better about myself when I work out. I sleep better, my back feels better, my knees feel better . . . when I'm moving and keeping my body long and strong, I feel like I'm more productive and I get more done in a day."

5. She Does Blood Flow Restriction Workouts

1. Her Diet Is Healthy

54th NAACP Image Awards - ArrivalsAaron J. Thornton/Getty Images

Ross maintains a healthy-ish diet. “I like simple, whole foods,” she dished to People. She tries to eat as dairy-free as possible and fills her plate with seasonal produce from the farmer’s market. However, she does allow herself cheat meals. “I love going to one of my favorite restaurants once a week to have a glass of wine and a delicious meal. I don’t restrict my eating to firm meal times. I eat in the same philosophy that I live with: joyfully!”

2. She Does The Tracy Anderson Method

Ross prefers “feel good” workouts she told Health. “I have to say that Tracy Anderson's workout the last five years has been really good for me. I love the studio atmosphere, I love how beautiful and sexy and long and strong I look when I work out, and I love the loud music,” she explained. “I find that, as adults, we stay so regimented in our movement, even if we get on a treadmill. The music changes all the patterns, and my body gets to move freely, so you feel amazing—which is ultimately the point of the workouts, too. One of the things that's most encouraging is you see a roomful of women working their asses off and looking beautiful. You see women in their 40s wearing jog bras and their stomachs out proudly, walking in a stance that says, ‘I love my body,’ and that's exciting to me.”

3. She Works Out Three Days a Week

Rosee gets her sweat on “three days a week on a regular basis, sometimes four,” she confessed to Health. “Sometimes I take a little break, but the truth is, I feel the best when I work out. I feel very strong. I didn't wake up like this. At 22, I woke up like that. At 44, I work really hard for this! I am on TV, and I don't want to lie to anybody. I'm not at my skinniest, I'm not at my fattest, but I live my life. This is my body. Health and the functionality of my body are more important than what it looks like.”

4. She Prioritizes Self-Care

Fashion Trust US Awards - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

Self-care is crucial, says Ross. “I moisturize, and I dry brush, and I infrared sauna, and I do acupuncture, and I get facials,” she told Health about her regular practices.

5. She Hydrates

2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - ArrivalsLionel Hahn/Getty Images

Ross’ beverage of choice is H2o. “I drink water, and I don't drink a ton of alcohol,” she revealed to Health. “Alcohol makes the folds go deeper—one glass of wine is like being on 17 airplanes; it just dries you out.” How much water should you drink? According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids

6. She Sleeps A Lot

One of the “biggest things” that is crucial to Ross’ health? Sleep. “Sometimes it's not eight hours, but my sleep is sacred to me,” she told Health. "I’ve tried to choose sleep over working out, which I think is the right choice.” What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

1. She Hits the Gym

Arabella said she was “excited” to hit the gym after the lockdowns. “Whether you create your own fitness training program or enlist the help of a personal trainer, your overall exercise plan should include several elements. Aim to incorporate aerobic fitness, strength training, core exercises, balance training, and flexibility and stretching into your exercise plan. It isn't necessary to fit each of these elements into every fitness session, but factoring them into your regular routine can help you promote fitness for life,” says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Does HIIT

You can work out with Chi virtually on Boux, and she does HIIT. “The concept behind HIIT is to do short bursts of very high-intensity activity interspersed with less-intense activity. A session of HIIT takes about 25 to 30 minutes, which includes a warm-up and a cool-down period. Do that three times a week to meet the recommended aerobic exercise goal,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

3. She Values Consistency

As for resolutions: “People set way too big goals - once January hits we panic and set unrealistic goals for ourselves! Consistency should be a goal, because I feel like people set goals and then lose motivation and just give up. People should say ‘I’m gonna have a consistent year, that's gonna be my goal,” she told Boux Avenue.

4. Fitness is Meditation for Her

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is clearly happiest when she’s in a bikini. The reality star posted a video of herself on Instagram looking stunning in a purple bikini, with one fan commenting that she looks “maravilhosa”. So how does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves Oysters

Lawrence enjoys oysters, which are a great source of vitamin D, copper, selenium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. “Yes, oysters are very good for you,” says preventive cardiology dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, LD. “In fact, you probably didn’t know that it’s hard to beat all the health benefits of oysters from a nutritional standpoint. Oysters can really pack a healthy punch. Think of oysters as little shells full of nutrients.”

2. She Stays True To Herself

Launch Of MuzicSwipeMichael Tullberg/Getty Images

Being on a reality show didn’t affect Lawrence’s sense of self. “For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it,” she told COMPLEX. “I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do. There wasn’t much thought into it because I was like, this is just who I am as a person. I look back and I’m like, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have done or said that, but then I’m like, well, I’m being authentic. So that’s me. And if people don’t like something that I did or said, then they might just not like me.”

3. She Loves Her “Beach Hair”

Lawrence isn’t a fan of the overly-groomed look, preferring messier “beach hair”. “A lot of people just tell me to brush my hair, which I don’t disagree with them,” she jokes. Lawrence’s hair might actually be healthier this way, experts say, "After only a day of not using irons or heat instruments to style the hair, it will be in the condition that our hair is which is dehydrated, fragile, dull, and lifeless," says Garnier celebrity hairstylist Millie Morales. "After a month, you will notice an incredible, stronger change in your hair. You would have recovered the hydration, the natural oils of your hair and would have strengthened the protective layer of the hair."

4. She Loves the Water

Lawrence has posted lots of snaps of herself frolicking in the ocean (in a bikini, of course!). “The color blue has been found by an overwhelming amount of people to be associated with feelings of calm and peace,” says clinical psychologist Richard Shuster, PsyD. “Staring at the ocean actually changes our brain waves’ frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state.”

5. She Loves to Dance

Lawrence enjoys dancing, based on her TikTok posts. “We know that movement is good for everyone,” says Emily Sandow, supervisor of dance physical therapy at NYU Langone’s Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. “A healthy lifestyle is integrating the mind, body and soul relationship, and dance has all of those characteristics. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just you just tapping your foot. Everyone can do something where they can move their body to music, and that’s really valuable.”

Moore is all about self-confidence. She talked about this in the caption of her recent Instagram video. Moore writes, “I didn’t find figure flattering bikinis. Because my figure is always flattering. I didn’t hesitate to put on a bikini and flail in the waves. Because any hesitation would cut into my joy. Your body is ready. Your suit is perfect. Go put it on and have FUN.”

2. She’s Not Embarrassed

Moore works on TV, and things sometimes go wrong. However, she doesn’t let herself get embarrassed by what happens. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. “I rarely get embarrassed anymore. I don’t feel mortified often, because I’m human, and confident, and prone to mistakes or extra cake, or tripping on a sidewalk or whatever. This is life. Things won’t fit. I will trip. I will say the wrong thing and get a burst of panic sweat…But I’ll recover and move on because humility and confidence is a wild combo. If you make the choice to not feel stupid…But lean into feeling human instead…All the little embarrassing things just become part of a colourful life. So you’re not stupid. You’re human.”

3. She Enjoys Going To The Gym

Moore makes sure to go to the gym. And she enjoys doing so. Moore posted this workout video on Instagram. She captioned the post, “I move at 120 pounds. I move at 210 pounds. I move at every weight in between. I enjoy my body. I enjoy a body in movement. I enjoy the endorphin kick.”

4. She Goes On Walks

One thing Moore enjoys doing is going on walks, especially when it’s warm out. She shared this video of herself going on a walk with her dog in the park on Instagram. Moore captioned the post, “Summer is sweet because a good time is as simple as throwing on flip flops and walking to the park. Seeing the city gathered on the side of a hill to witness nature at its best? I’m here for it.”

5. She Makes Time For Herself

Moore has a busy schedule, but she still makes sure to make time for herself. She shared one of her tips in this Instagram video. “Wanna know how to make an 8am kid’s activity meditative? Drop them off. Fill up their water bottle. Kiss them. And if you have one…Go to your car. Snacks, music, books and solitude await. Hanging out alone in the car is absolutely self care. Moms have been doing this forever…But now social media has named it: Parking Lot Self Care.”

Mark Wahlberg isn’t slowing down in his 50s—if anything, he’s more shredded than ever. The actor, producer, and fitness enthusiast has built a reputation for his intense workouts and disciplined diet. In a recent TikTok, he gave fans a sneak peek at what’s fueling his muscle gains, from protein-packed meals to superfoods that keep him energized. If you’re wondering how Wahlberg stays jacked well into his 50s, here’s a breakdown of his go-to nutrition hacks.

He Eats Eggs

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

Rita snaps a selfie on the treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

Rita Ora on a Pilates reformer

Rita Ora/Instagram

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
