She Hit "Rock Bottom"

In a video, Tyne-Lexy revealed that she "hit rock bottom" after appearing on Love Island when her weight "ballooned." She said: "My weight shot up to almost 11 stone and I was up to a size 14. I would look at pictures of me in the TV villa last year and think, 'You've really let yourself go.' Obviously when millions are watching you on TV every night there is a real incentive to look good. We were all incredibly careful about what we ate and drank on the show because we knew our every move would be scrutinised on social media. 'When all that pressure lifted and I went back to my studies, I lost it a bit and I was horrified by my weight and body shape at the start of the summer."

Clarson opted to lose weight the healthy way. "I didn't want to do anything unhealthy and I wanted to ensure that my weight loss came about through exercise and diet improvements," she said.

Clarson also used weekly progress photos to stay motivated. "It was great looking at the pictures each week and seeing my body firming up. After every session, I feel a little bit fitter, my body was a little more taut and I always felt that I was moving in the right direction…" she said. "If you really knuckle down, it is perfectly possible to make quite big changes to your physique in six weeks. Taking the pictures was a great motivator because I was determined that I would look a little fitter in each one."

She Drinks Protein Shakes

Clarson also used meal replacement drinks, a "great way to boost the progress I was already making through diet and exercise," she said. "They give you that extra push and I wouldn't have hit my target in six weeks without them."

She Changed Her Lifestyle

Clarson's six week transformation helped her learn habits she has continued to incorporate into her lifestyle. "'I have got all my body confidence back," she said. "This isn't a short-term fix – I have got more energy, I feel more comfortable in my body and I going to carry on with all the good habits I have picked up in the last six weeks."
