Harvard Health endorses boxing as a great aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. "It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood. Aerobics can also boost your endurance, which helps you climb a flight of stairs or walk farther," they explain.

She Lifts Heavy Weights

When it comes to exercise, Urvashi doesn't mess around. Her feed is filled with her intense workouts, which involve lifting massive amounts of weight. In this one she lifts almost 265 pounds, making it look effortless. Here's an exercise from personal trainer Mark Langowski that'll get your muscles working:

Quadruped Bear Crawl. Get on all fours, shins parallel to ground, toes hip width apart, hands under your shoulders. Now walk forward on all fours 10 paces, then backwards 10 paces. Your core will be on fire.

Standing on one leg, tilt at the waist, keeping your back from rounding, and lower your chest toward the floor until your back is parallel to the ground. Exhale as you slowly come up and, at the top of movement, curl the weights up to your shoulders, then press them overhead. Do 8 repetitions for each leg.

She Does Martial Arts

Urvashi does a lot of martial arts, including Bōjutsor, or stick fighting. She has shared a few videos and photos of her practice on Instagram. "Do you want to fight me? Now's the time. Do you want to fight me? Stand in line. Do you want to fight me? Hand to hand. Do you want to fight me? Now's your chance. Let's do this," she captioned a photo. Or try tai chi. "Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion," says the Mayo Clinic.

She Skis

Urvashi manages to incorporate exercise into her vacations. The star is an avid skier, sharing lots of photos and videos from her luxury trips on her Instagram account. "Jetted off on my own snowy adventure. Super happy being back in the snow and on the mountain. I'm so proud to be a mountain girl," she captioned one of them. "The best equipment from a protection standpoint that you can get in alpine skiing is a helmet," says Dr. Jonathan Finnoff, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center. "You want to make sure that you have equipment that fits you, that's well-tuned, that the bindings are set appropriately for your weight and also for you ski level, so that it functions and releases when it's supposed to be releasing."

She Prioritizes Mental and Physical Flexibility

Urvashi is all about flexibility for the body and mind. "Be infinitely flexible and constantly amazed. Mental flexibility is even more important than physical flexibility. Stretch your mind today," she captioned an Instagram post. "Research has shown that stretching can help improve flexibility, and, as a result, the range of motion of your joints," says the Mayo Clinic:

"Better flexibility may:

  • Improve your performance in physical activities
  • Decrease your risk of injuries
  • Help your joints move through their full range of motion
  • Increase muscle blood flow
  • Enable your muscles to work most effectively
  • Improve your ability to do daily activities

You may learn to enjoy the ritual of stretching before or after hitting the trail, ballet floor or soccer field."
