She Suffers From Insulin Resistance

Valentina suffers from a health condition. "The tests did not go well … I have a disease in a more serious form than expected," Valentina announced on Instagram last year. "An insulin-related disorder, to be precise, insulin resistance, an uncommon disease. Very difficult to diagnose. A condition that affects many girls who do not know they have it," she added later on. "Insulin resistance is when cells in your muscles, fat, and liver don't respond well to insulin and can't easily take up glucose from your blood. As a result, your pancreas makes more insulin to help glucose enter your cells. As long as your pancreas can make enough insulin to overcome your cells' weak response to insulin, your blood glucose levels will stay in the healthy range," says the NIH


She Pole Dances

In 2019 Valentina started taking pole dancing classes, and has been at it ever since. She has two entire tabs devoted to her practice, regularly showing off her moves. She admits that it isn't "easy at all," but it also hurts so good. "I fell so many time and it was hurting as hell but at the end I made it," she captioned an image. "My idea of freedom," she captioned this Instagram image. 


She Hikes

Valentina loves getting outdoors and breaking a sweat. One of her favorite activities? Hiking, which she sometimes does in her swimsuit. "Into the wild," she captioned this image from Hawaii. "Over the clouds looking at the sunset at 3000m on Haleakalā volcano is something I will never forget," she captioned another photo of herself on a hike.


She Chooses Savory Over Sweet

When it comes to Valentina's guilty pleasures, she gravitates toward salty over sweet. "Happy birthday to me ✨ 29 years old now 💖 My baby @lucavezil surprised me with the best birthday cake: fries birthday cake! 😍 " she captioned this image. She also loves pasta and pizza. 


She Skis

Valentina loves skiing. There are multiple photos on her Instagram feed of herself dressed to the nines in ski clothes on the slopes. "Skiing gets you outdoors in the winter when we often end up on the couch and are passive," physical therapist Scott Tremmel said to the Cleveland Clinic. "We're just not as active when the cold weather sets in, but skiing keeps you moving to continue to build up your endurance."
