Valentina suffers from a health condition. “The tests did not go well ... I have a disease in a more serious form than expected," Valentina announced on Instagram last year. “An insulin-related disorder, to be precise, insulin resistance, an uncommon disease. Very difficult to diagnose. A condition that affects many girls who do not know they have it,” she added later on. “Insulin resistance is when cells in your muscles, fat, and liver don’t respond well to insulin and can’t easily take up glucose from your blood. As a result, your pancreas makes more insulin to help glucose enter your cells. As long as your pancreas can make enough insulin to overcome your cells’ weak response to insulin, your blood glucose levels will stay in the healthy range,” says the NIH.

In 2019 Valentina started taking pole dancing classes, and has been at it ever since. She has two entire tabs devoted to her practice, regularly showing off her moves. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do.
