Loureda is motivated to stay in shape. She tells VitalProteins.com that she pushes herself to workout and stick to her schedule. "Honestly, it's all about how bad you want it. There are days where I am less motivated than others, but I remind myself of my dreams and everything I want to accomplish, and it helps me push through the workout."

She Keeps A Healthy Diet

Being a fighter, Loureda has to eat a healthy diet. She also has to be consistent with it. Loureda told VitalProtiens.com that she makes sure to stay hydrated and eat healthy. "On both training days and active recovery days I drink a lot of water and try to eat clean."

She Loves Yoga

Loureda loves to practice yoga. She tells VitalProteins.com that yoga doesn't just help her stay in shape, but helps her recover. "On active recovery days, doing yoga is my go-to," she says. "It helps to release the lactic acid from my legs, and the next morning I am not as sore."

She Proved Herself

Fighting is a male-dominated sport, and Loureda says that she has had to work hard to get the career she has now. "I felt that in the beginning of my career, because it was a male-dominated sport, I felt like I had to prove myself as an athlete to my coaches and my teammates," she told Muscle and Fitness. "It was very hard to be able to grow in my own sport and to rise in a male-dominated sport. You have to learn how to speak to certain coaches and how to get through certain things and how to make the most out of what you have to reach where I am now."

She Ignores Other People's Opinions

Loureda has no time for other people's opinions. She tells Muscle & Fitness, "Don't listen to what anybody has to say about you, because you have to be yourself and stay true to yourself in order to be recognized by the world. And if I would have listened to what anybody said about me, I wouldn't be in the position where I am now."
