Actress Vanessa Morgan is known for her roles in Riverdale and My Babysitter’s a Vampire. She’s currently spending time in beautiful Mexico. Morgan just shared a highlight reel on Instagram of herself by the pool and in her hotel. In it, she wore a patterned bathing suit while going for a dip. 1. She Embraces Her Scar

Morgan has a scar from her c-section, and she is embracing it. She opened up about an Instagram campaign she is a part of, and why she wanted to do this to Women’s Health. “This campaign is super special to me, obviously because it's sharing my scar story. What we're trying to do is encourage others to share on social media with the hashtag #MyScarStory. [Hopefully], we can bring greater awareness and encourage others to embrace their skin. I saw that and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I loved seeing something that I could relate to and somebody just embracing it, ‘cause I never really hear people talking about it. And it's something that so many of us deal with—we have these scars and we should be proud.”
2. She’s Prioritizing Self-Care

Morgan has a busy schedule, with her acting career and being a mom. However, she tells Women’s Health that she is now making time for herself. “I would say the first eight months, I didn't even do my self-care routine that I would usually do—obviously still washing your face, putting cream on, but not to the extent that I would like. Now that he has a sleep schedule, that's changed. As soon as he goes to bed, I do my self-care routine. I think it's all about, for moms, just finding that window and then prioritizing yourself as well, instead of just only your child, because your happiness matters too.”
3. She Goes On Walks
Morgan revealed some of her favorite self-care practices to WhoWhatWear. She says that she loves to go on walks to clear her mind and stay in shape. “I like walking barefoot on either the grass or a beach,” she says. “It's really grounding. I feel so much better and always have so much more energy throughout the day.”
4. She Meditates

Morgan loves to meditate. She tells WhoWhatWear that she tries to schedule in a session whenever she has time. “If I can meditate in the morning,” she says. “Meditating has been a lot harder with my son, of course—but if I can, I try and breathe and get that 15 minutes to myself. I love getting those mindful minutes in every morning.”
5. She Stays Moisturized
Morgan also revealed some of her skincare tips to WhoWhatWear. Her biggest secret? Staying moisturized. “It's key not to neglect your body. I always keep my face moist. So that's key when you're in the sun so even if I'm not the best with my sunscreen as long as my skin is moisturized, it doesn't flake or peel and I find I look young.”
