She Exercises for Her Mental Health

Vedhika told The Times of India that she works out for her mental health. "The unpredictable shooting hours, long tiring all-nighters, rehearsals, and thousand other things cause a lot of physical and mental exhaustion. There are so many thoughts running through our minds. We need to communicate with our mind and working out helps me create that dialogue with myself, helps me be grateful for this life, and embraces the uncertainties, the new day where anything is possible," she told them.

She Does Strength Training

Vedhika puts in a lot of work at the gym. "I'm very much into weight training and animal flow workouts, too. I also believe that a healthy body is very important for a healthy mind and vice versa. So the one who strikes balance between them both is the real winner," she told Times of India. She prefers strength and weight training, executing brutal but effective moves, like these medicine ball squats using hand weights. "The pain you feel today will be the #strength #you feel tomorrow ," she captioned this post.

She Dances

Dancing is another key way that Vedhika stays in shape. Her dance routines are more rigorous than most workouts, and she regularly shares them to her Instagram Stories. She uses her entire body when dancing, thrusting her arms and even incorporating squats!

She Boxes

Vedhika also boxes, which comes with many health benefits, per Harvard Health, including building strength. It is also a great aerobic exercise. "Aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood. Aerobics can also boost your endurance, which helps you climb a flight of stairs or walk farther," they say.

She Does Yoga and Meditates

Vedhika also takes time to get her zen on and stay in shape with the help of yoga. "I practice various types of meditation and yoga asanas to keep my emotional well-being," she told Times of India.
