Sensible About Diet

Silvstedt refuses to be too restrictive about her food, instead enjoying a balanced diet. "First of all I love to eat," she says. "I am not your green juices 24/7 kind of girl. I must have a dessert everyday and especially chocolate. And what is a night like without a glass of wine? However, I try to avoid eating carbs and especially before a photo-shoot. I also try to limit my amount of red meat intake. I guess you can describe my diet as a Mediterranean, wholesome and vegetable-based diet."

2

Outdoor Workouts

Silvstedt enjoys outdoor workouts over gym sessions. "As for my physique, I try to take a lot of vitamins for my hair and skin," she says. "And I love working out outdoors like doing some yoga and Pilates every now and then. I prefer to go running outside rather than to workout at the gym."

Celery Juice

Silvstedt is a big fan of celery juice.  "Every morning I have celery juice and hot water and lemon," she says. "I have oatmeal for breakfast and I don't eat much meat. I try not to eat processed food, fried foods or milk products. And for me that works. We are all trying to find the fountain of youth so I keep looking for it every day. But I swear by the celery juice."

4

Skiing and Horseback Riding

Silvstedt's hobbies are skiing, horseback riding, and traveling. "Skiing is good for both experienced skiers and beginners because it works the major muscle groups," says Betony Garner of the Ski Club of Great Britain. "Also, beginners tend to walk up the slope, rather than using a ski lift – which really works the heart and lungs, making it a good overall workout!"

Her Health Mantra

Silvstedt says happiness is key to health and wellness. "Eat clean, sleep well, and exercise moderately every day," she says. "Enjoying life is another good beauty tip. You'll look better on the outside if you're happy on the inside. Have fun socializing and doing whatever else you enjoy."
